“I lived in the area on and off for over 25 years. This is the first time ever coming here. I was walking in blind, I knew nobody here and knew nothing about this place. Driven past hundreds of times but never stop. First impression was awesome. Great environment and atmosphere with the tavern. Everyone was cool and fun and very welcoming of me being there. Sammy the bartender was awesome. Very attentive to my drinks and everyone’s else’s drinks , knowledgeable on what he’s serving, and just a friendly attitude towards everyone there. Awesome local spot to get some great beers and wines. They have darts, a shuffle board table, and a digital jukebox to play your favorite tunes. I would definitely recommend the Beachcomber Tavern to anyone that is local, traveling through or the vacation rental people. I will definitely be back myself.“

“Best guacamole anywhere. Made fresh at the table, but somehow there is still something they do that makes it amazing. They make their tortillas in house. For lunch, two of us shared the guac, had a taco a piece and shared a chili rellenos. Everything was delicious. Excellent chill rellenos.“

“I’m very upset with all the changes that whole foods has changed since Amazon purchased the company. They used to allow customers to purchase drinks and drink them at the bar, which brought lots of traffic to the area but unfortunately they do not allow that option no more.Susan made our visit to whole foods worth our time. Tremendous customer service ! If I return to Rincón it will be because of “Susan”.“

“My friend and I stopped in for the first time as we were walking home from an event last weekend. It's surprisingly very big inside. It's a beautiful little joint. The people were very nice as well, giving us some history of the place.“

A blue-collar, workin’ man’s bar, Joe owned the place, Yvonne ran it .. bartenders were cool, drinks tasty and cheap, locals tight and friendly .. and this place just immediately felt like ‘Home.’ Over the years, we ate, drank, smoked, joked, sang and screwed our way thru some damn good times!! In 3 1/2 decades, regulars who became dear friends have come, gone .. many passing away. But does the heart good to know the same cool ‘locals vibe’ is alive and well .. and new generations are finding appreciation for what is still, the best kept secret in town. My respect… ??“

“Gotta go for the band night, awesome dances and people, great waiters/waitress to help with all the basics leave a good tip and try the appetizers $$so good for the price you get more then you paid for, instantly the table is filled with large all the filled to brim drinks and dinner you have to probably box when your half done your convenient after party and dinning by the beach“

“Went for lunch and surprisingly discovered it was happy hour. Wife had the turkey club, (not happy hour -($17.99). I had the truffle pizza ($9.99), a 12 ounce beer ($3.49). $9.99- cheese curds. Wife ordered soda at $4.39. Waitress was Marylin, who was attentive, friendly and made excellent food recommendations. Food was delivered timely and was hot. My pizza and cheese curds were flavorful and delicious. Curds were served with a sweet and sour sauce plus a ranch kinda dressing, both tangy & delicious. When our waitress went on her lunch break, Destini took over and was equally attentive. Both provided great service. Total for lunch before tip was $46.00. Fun & lively atmosphere. Would recommend for good food and great service. Wife said its her new favorite restaurant.“

“We had the chicken quesadilla Mole estilo Guanajuato, Tamarindo agua fresca and Jamaica agua fresca a michelada and churro ice cream for dessert. The mole sauce tasted a bit bitter, the aguas frescas were refreshing with just the right amount of sugar, the michelada was on pointe! the churro was served hot ? with a cinammon coating and glazed ice cream. The server was super friendly and attentive. No waiting which was awesome because we were hungry. The food came within 15 minutes.

Parking: Depends what time you are there you might get lucky with great parking spot.
