“Amazing find! Had a quick lunch here the price was very reasonable (lunch special menu). The small dishes (complimentary appetisers) tasted very authentic and goes well with the rice. Would recommend anyone to come try authentic Korean food at good price!“

“I bought a pair of work boots next door and was drawn this to cozy looking restaurant. Inside it's nice and dim and homey. All of the people working there were so nice and I could hear them catching up with regular customers. I ordered soft tofu stew and it was exactly what I needed, warm and filling and flavorful. All of the banchan is made in house and tastes delicious.“

“Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of fried chicken. I’d put Mr. Lee’s up against even some of the best of the bay like San Tung in SF. It really is that good! Get the Mr. Lee’s and Yang yum flavors! Go get some chicken and tell me I’m not lying here! The kimbap was also very yummy and perfect.“

“The food here is absolutely incredible, but you definitely have to pack your patience! We ordered the braised beef short rib (Kalbijjim) with the cheese addition, and watching them torch the cheese right at the table is an awesome touch. The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, and the flavor is deeply rich and savory. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 purely because the wait times can get pretty ridiculous, even if you try to join the waitlist ahead of time. It’s definitely worth the hype, just be prepared to wait around outside.“

“My first time visiting today and I enjoyed it. I had a small party of 2 and was seated right away. Ordering was easy, right at the table. I got the beef short ribs, fried dumplings and beef bibimbap. Everything was good. Only thing was the beef ribs were a little tougher than expected but still good. All sides were yummy too.“

“Overall, I enjoy the food. And portions are pretty good. The one downside is their shrimp tempura. It’s basically fried dough and it’s tough. Everything else i enjoy. I recommend the chicken that is not fried/breaded chicken“

“I love Vons Chicken! I really recommend their Honey Butter Chicken and Cheddar Chicken! The honey butter chicken is sweet and salty while the cheddar chicken is less sweet. Both are really delicious with white rice. Their servings are pretty good for the price. I order through DoorDash and it usually takes 20 minutes for them to get it ready. I highly recommend you to try it.“

“I ordered a chicken katsu, but they then told me they were sold out and let me change it to a pork tonkatsu and also have me the option of a potato hotdog or something else because of the miss communication. super nice lady at the front. pork tonkatsu is really great. my only downside is they didn’t have unagi sauce as an option. it pairs really well with katsu“

the bibimbap and LA Galbi had authentic Korean flavors that i can’t find anywhere else in the East Bay or even SF! the galbi satisfied all of my kbbq cravings and my mom thoroughly enjoyed the dolsot bibimbap with spicy pork too!
the family running this restaurant seems very hardworking and are very friendly and caring toward their customers which we appreciated as well ☺️“
