“It's a tragedy that Manzke is closing at the end of February. A restaurant this good shouldn't have to close. Everything is fantastic. The food is rich in flavor with a cocktail and wine list as close to perfection as possible. I'd encourage anyone who loves fine dining to enjoy Manzke while you can. Oh, and the butter is heavenly...“

“Great brunch spot in Culver City. I appreciate the creativity and the play on flavors that the chef demonstrates. It’s on the pricier side but it’s a nice treat for once in a while. They don’t have sitting indoor, but the turnover rate is fast, so usually you don’t have to wait long to get a table. We got the French toast and the chicken schnitzel. Both have a balance of flavor and the presentation is on point as well.“

“I recently visited Le Petit Four and I must say, it's one of the best French restaurants I've experienced in Los Angeles. The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. We started with the snails, which were superb, followed by a Quiche Lorraine and Salade Niçoise for the entrées. Each dish was simply incredible, perfectly capturing the essence of French cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant enhances the authentic French vibe, making it a must-visit for anyone in search of genuine French dining. I absolutely recommend Le Petit Four if you're looking for a top-notch French restaurant experience.“

“Lunch was divine. Quiet afternoon. Moussaka tasted like Greece. Taramasalata smooth w hint of lemon. Beet salad was unexpectedly great. First time having it w Greek fare. Patates perfectly marinated, lemon, olive oil, oregano. BBQ chicken spot on - moist, flavorful & chopped up for easy eating. Rizogalo creamy & just right sweet. Stuffed but happy. Highly recommend. Gem to share w fam & friends.“

“We booked Olivetta for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, based on its popularity and reputation. I would not classify it as fine dining, more so a really good Italian restaurant that specializes in drinks, and a more upscale and lively vibe versus a traditional fine dining restaurant like Madeo up on W Sunset. I would say it’s a great place to bring a date or dinner with friends or family, and not so much a work dinner location. The inside is beautifully done and has some great colors. There are tapestries all along the walls with lots of plants dividing the dining areas and a very muted red color that really adds to the ambience. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, it will be valet or metered street parking. You have to check in with security street side first and then they let you walk up the ramp where you will next check in with the hostess. They have a large bar area as well as a lot of different seating options. Our table was extremely small, however, and the tables were very close together so this is not the sort of place that you’ll be able to have a private or sensitive conversation. Our server was very polite, although took quite some time to take our order initially but overall, I think he did a great job. The music is quite loud here so if someone has hearing issues they will really struggle to hear others at their table. They have a fairly large menu with a lot of great options on it. We started off with a Squash Blossoms, which were absolutely fantastic. I have ordered these all over town and this is definitely one of the better versions. I was a bit disappointed that it only comes with three which is a hard number to share so I wish the portion size would’ve been a bit larger for this. Next we followed with the Caesar Salad and it was great. Again, not a very large sized portion, but still tasty flavorwise. For my entrée, I chose the Creste Di Gallo because having the bone marrow scooped in right before you eat is an unbeatable addition to me. It was a true treat. I love bone marrow anything so this was great pasta. The bone marrow itself added a great flavor and a crunch to the meal, which I truly loved. We also ordered the special for the day, which was the Dungeness Crab Tagliatelle. It was absolutely fantastic and had a ton of crab on it. The sauce was truly what made the dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. For dessert we topped off the meal with the Brown Sugar Budino and I definitely would recommend it. It was sweet and salty and actually a great sized portion. it was a great end of the meal.Overall, I would say Olivetta is a great date spot. It’s very lively and very noisy but in a fun way. They play the music quite loud so it has a very Friday night kind of feel to it. I would recommend and will try it again sometime in the near future.Parking: valet or metered street parking“

“If I told you this is the best Russian food I’ve ever had, it would insult all of my aunts and grandmothers; but if they could cook like Traktir cooks, I wouldn’t have to offend them. At the risk of hurting all of their feelings, let me tell you. This is the best Russian food I have ever had in my life. The service is amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and fun. We tasted like 14 different offerings. The challenge is to not eat a lot. Hahaha! The sides are all insanely good. Whoever took that time to ensure everything served tastes like how it tastes, takes food seriously. They should be really proud. Thank you for one of, if not the best, nights of my life feasting like a tsar. Even the cakes and espresso are the highest quality. Inspiringly delicious food. Nosdorovia, Traktir!“

“Gran Blanco's menu and staff really know how to treat their patrons! Every dish we tried was amazing...special shout outs to the veggies...Brussel sprouts and the cabbage were an exciting new take! The shrimp, toro and Wagu tartare...amazing! You must try the Tiki Freaki! Prepare to be spoiled by the staff! We were the oldest folk in the place and it may have been a bit loud for a quiet conversation, but wow! We'll be back!“

“We had Sunday brunch here, there was no wait time and we were seated immediately. The service was fast, and the brunch was good, The chicken taco was marinated perfectly, the blue jam Benedict was also good, the potatoes on the side was lacking taste, maybe some salt would have added to the taste. The iced coffee seemed very sweet to me. The ginger shots were good.“

“Fabulous hyper-farm-to-table food by a creative chef, on Main St in Santa Monica. I’ve tried the Gazpacho, the many Danish Rye toasts with what is fresh that day: eggs, salmon roe, avocado or ....? They also have baristas that make all type of drinks. My fab place to indulge healthy and fresh“

“The food was perfect. The Terrace is very nice. Just a little thing that was irritating: It was Mother's Day and I just booked the breakfast bc I did not reallly like the menu on the fixed price menu. I specifically booked the outside and this was confirmed by the person who had called me. We were switched to the inside. They said it was Mother's Day and I was booked for the inside only. OK they were busy. However we were seated and it was a table for 4 only not 5 like we were. They added another chair. They said they were fully booked outside but the entire time we were there for 1.5 hours, there was an outside table for 5 that was open. That just annoyed me. But it was Mother's Day and I just loved being there with my girls. Best pancakes I have tasted, so fluffy and light. Eggs benedict was a perfect poached egg too! Add avacado on the side bc it is a nice addition.“

“This place is a hoot! It is a jampacked night filled with tons of entertainment, and so much food! I was a guest at a birthday dinner party couple weeks ago on a Saturday night and I must say I have never heard of this place before. It is tucked away in a small plaza in Studio City and parking is free for the most part unless you choose to valet. Inside you'll find a banquet hall type of settings where each table is reserved for special parties. As far as the food goes, you name it and they have it. They served as different types of fish, lobster salad, shrimp, cocktail, chicken, duck, kebabs, steak, etc., the courses were never ending and there was unlimited amounts of wine and some kind of hard liquor. As far as entertainment goes, there were belly dancers, there was Marilyn Monroe impressionist, there was a DJ for dancing, and multiple live singers as well. Almost everything is in Russian though and since I don't understand Russian, I wasn't sure what was going on most of the time, but some songs were in English and the belly dancing was toArabic music and I think they played a couple of Armenian songs as well. It is definitely a place to go if you want to experience a Russian style banquet party and as far as pricing goes, I'm not too sure how much it cost but I'm pretty sure it is quite expensive!!“

“Really enjoyed their apps and the hospitality provided here. Even got there early and Marta welcomed us early. But really went for the ambiance (Thanks, Marta) but it was bit of disappointing maybe, the time and the wind/draft as their side awnings or broken. We were a bit also disappointed by lack of food options compared to the online menu. Will try again when it's warmer and less windier.“
