Unfortunately there were 4 kids screaming at the top of their lungs and their parents never told them to stop. Not the restaurants fault at all! “Wolfgang Puck Express is one of the ready made food sections inside the Gelsons market in Pacific Palisades. As a fan of Wolfgang Puck and his numerous string of restaurants, when these smaller chains opened, I was skeptical about the quality of the food. Offered are pizzas, salads and pasta. Have tried only the pizzas and is the basis of my review.Pre and during COVID, after seeing the cleanliness methods of the preparation of the pizzas and have had positive interactions with the employees, I felt comfortable enough to have tried the first freshly baked pizzas. I will only accept the freshly baked and NOT the pizza that's been sitting on the counter. Pizzas are available by the slice, build your own with preferred toppings or you can order their signature pizzas. So far all the pizzas I've tried, were fantastic tasting. It's too bad, Spago's famous smoked salmon with caviar pearls are not offered here. I have tried: the veggie, mushroom and pepperoni. These pizzas have been quite good and beyond satisfactory for takeout to enjoy at home. Recommend!“

Had to wait 20 minutes outside the front door waiting for our table (which was not a big deal) but for the incredibly squeaky front door which opens repeatedly. Everyone waiting for their table was getting a headache. Food was great. I won't return until I know that door is fixed.“

Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. I started with an espresso martini. This was by far the best one I have ever had. We shared a few dishes: beet salad, endives, truffle fries, mac n cheese, wagyu porterhouse and a few desserts. Everything was incredible. Their wagyu porterhouse is sourced from Snake River farms. It was cooked to perfection with a nice charred crust on the outside while kept pink on the inside - well seasoned and very juicy. We started our meal with the cheese plate and tuna carpaccio both of which were an amazing first course. I then ordered the pan seared cod and my girlfriend ordered the octopus. Finally to finish our meal we ordered a serving of ice cream which is always a good choice and the Cloud de Maron. The latter of which was not only visually stunning but also deliciously decadent.
