“Got on each of their poke bowls. Shoyu, half and half and spicy. The spicy is spicy but good! The bowl is just poke over rice. Got mochi doughnuts and they were really good like it was made to order! They dip the doughnuts when you order. Their doughnuts taste much better then other name brand places!“

Me and my friends are road-tripping down the coast of California and we stopped for gas and noticed this breakfast spot near by. Walking in you can feel the warm energy of the owners and they are immediately there to help you. The food ended up being a 10/10, absolutely amazing. I got the BLT on a bagel and was thrilled. My husband is from the East Coast and is quite particular about breakfast sandwiches and these get his approval. The yeast donuts (the glazed in particular) are really good and we love the cruffins. “I found this place while waiting for my food next door surprisingly. Other than the kid-favorite sprinkled donuts and holes, we asked them about their Filipino menu items . They apparently are known for their empanadas. People were coming in to buy trays full of them for their parties. I had to try them.Now each time I’m driving through the area, I swing by. They rarely have them in the donut display shelves. You need to ask them if they have them in the back. They do a great job for a small shop! ??“

“I am moving houses and didn’t have anything set up yet so I walked over and was warmly greeted by the owner. I realized I forgot my wallet and was about to walk out, but he offered me a coffee and donut and said, “I trust you, you can pay it tomorrow”. Wow, just wow. That level of kindness took me by surprise. I drove back to pay him. A great family establishment.“

“A gem in my neighborhood that I have ignored is the small business and Cantonese bakery “Donut Time,” which sells Vietnamese sandwiches, Hong Kong Milk Tea, pineapple buns (bo1 lo1 bao6), tarts (dan1 tat6), and different Cantonese pastries.

The clerk was generous, and gracious. I ordered a Hong Kong milk tea, drank about a third of it, and politely asked if I could give her 75 cents to fill my cup with black coffee, but she let me do it for free.

The items are cheap, and if you are time-strapped and need to get to work at 7 AM, this is an excellent spot for my neighbors here on Noriega Street.“

“Hey, a donut shop open 24 hours with a huge selection and clean inside and outside space. The guy at the counter was friendly. Coffee and hot chocolate. Apparently they have sandwiches too although I did not get one when I stopped by at 2 AM late on a Friday night.

No indoor seating or restroom available late at night. There was space outside to sit in the fresh air.

Got an assortment of three different donuts, and also two chocolate croissants and a hot chocolate. Try the one with nuts before I left. Very tasty!“

“I went to a Starbread at a different location a few years ago and fell in love with the señiorita bread. I was in San Francisco for a few days and found out there was a Starbread here as well. I wanted to go back and get the bread that I remembered being so good. Well, this place did not disappoint! The señiorita bread was actually better here, it was fresh and sweet and buttery! Because I was traveling back home, I only got 10 for $6 however next time I will be getting a bigger box to bring back home!“

“I have been here many times mainly when I am craving for a doughnut or when I am in the area where I am in need of a quick bite. They have a wide selection of fresh doughnuts made daily, sandwiches, coffee, refrigerated drinks and much more. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where I never had encountered an issue during any of my visits. You can dine in at one of their tables or simply purchase for takeout if you decide to. I have to say this place is a plus, because there are little to none doughnut shops within the area. I highly recommend this place to all doughnut enthusiasts, if you need a quick snack for the morning of if you just so happen to be in the area. “I had to stop by Royal Donut Cafe because of all of the great reviews I saw on Yelp! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all! The staff was awesome! “I went to George's for late afternoon lunch. The heavenly wafts from daily freshed baked donuts, each types are works of art.

The salad I ordered, with grilled chicken with just the right amount of dressing, little gem tomatoes paired with a glass of (hard to find) Bavarian white wine Grauburgunder, a Pinot Blanc).Yum!

The service was equally pleasant. Not over bearing, just right amount of attention.

And, as the last customer to leave, I went an hour before closing, they didn't chase or rush me. In fact, when I left, they gave me a beautifully gift box of their stunning donuts that weren't sold.

I was not only touched by this gesture (as they saw me walk several times to the counter admiring these works of art donuts), but extremely appreciative.
