“I’ve been going here since I was a young girl and my family and I are well acquainted with the staff. Everyone is polite and the food is absolutely phenomenal. For family dining we order their seafood soup with their fried rice. Do not be off put by the disposition of the staff, I believe they have solemn expressions because they are from a different culture. They aren’t rude just don’t fake their expressions 🤷🏽“

This Thai restaurant offers great service once you walk in, the place is nice and they also have dine-in option, in my case I was at work that I had to take out my food, lucky me I was within 10 minutes drive. What I usually loved is when restaurants offer lunch special, no because it sounds cheap but the menu is pretty simple with delicious options to choose from. The food is absolutely delicious and I really like when there is a meal with a wide variety of veggies. Personally I loved the flavor of whatever I ordered the 4 times I went to grab a bite. highly recommend this Thai restaurant if anyone is interested to try different food. The best part is that the prices are very affordable“

I ordered the Pad See Ew. I absolutely loved it and couldn't stop praising the dish! The flavor is so authentically Thai, it feels exactly like eating at one of those famous, top-tier restaurants back in Thailand.

What makes this dish truly special is that subtle, beautiful smoky flavor from the wok (Wok Hei). You can immediately tell that it takes a highly skilled, professional chef to master the heat and achieve this perfection. Another huge plus is that the noodles aren't overly greasy at all, unlike many other places we've tried. The balance is just right.

If you are looking for authentic Thai food crafted with the skill of a master chef, you absolutely have to try Lamoon. Highly recommended! 10/10!“

“OMG this place is fire. Don't judge the restaurant by the exterior. It truly is a hole-in-the-wall, hidden gem. I was losing hope in LA restaurants (we're visiting from NorCal) but this was honestly the best Thai food I've ever had! We tried the Panang Curry with Tofu and the Drunken Noodles with Tofu. EXCELLENT VEGETARIAN OPTIONS!! Everything tasted homemade, authentic, and most of all, FRESH! I can't wait to return and try other dishes :)“

“Bro.. just moved to the area early this year, my partner and I decided to find a lunch spot close by. Looked at reviews and decided to give this spot a try. WHAT?! Hidden gem!! The service- server was super friendly, helpful, and super quick!, Thai tea slapped! (Must get), zap wings - I do think need a sauce so we are taking home to create our own, fried chicken (GET THIS! Moist, but crunchy and soooo yummy, papaya salad(my partner said in her 33 years on earth this is the #2 all time best papaya salad she’s ever had(#1 is her moms), mango sticky rice was perfect- will be coming back for JUST this sometimes 😂
Oh yea I got yellow chicken curry to go so I’ll report later how that is 😂

You must MUST try this place.
It’s very small only 4 tables inside, so it was perfect daytime lunch date spot. Shit my partner and I were talking about which coworkers we were bringing here next 😂

Super clean inside. Seems like a lot of afternoon parking in the lot it’s in, not sure about night.

“Well priced, authentic Thai food! Lams looks like a small hole in the wall, but the food is extraordinarily delicious. I ordered 9 meals for a group of friends and on pick up it was ready on time, packaged beautifully and still very warm. Every meal was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Just an incredible, friendly, quality Thai restaurant. I've been ordering from Lams since before Covid and it never seizes to impress. Do yourself a favor.“

It's my first time here in this simple looking hidden gem and I had a great experience. They barely opened when I came so the store was clean. Their menu had so many variations of Thai food and most of them looked delicious.

I ordered the Thai coffee, shrimp and pork spring rolls, steamed pot stickers and the seafood combination fried rice with added chicken.
The Thai iced cofee were very good, although I am not really a coffee person, I liked it.
Their pork and shrimp eggrolls were not bad and the steamed pot stickers were awesome.

The fried rice came with shrimp, squid, and 4 pieces if fried fish plus I asked them to add some chicken on it. It was fantastic!
I could finish it all because the portion was generous and i only cost $40 something dollar for everything.“

“My husband and I were so happy to find this local Thai treasure. I'm always searching for pad Thai with the really thin noodles and this is one of the few. It's now replaced our previous choice for regular takeout (and we used to live in Hollywood next to the Thai town). We had the hidden treasure, beef satay and loved those too.

The food was outstanding — full of flavor, well-cooked, and served in generous portions. We ordered Pad See Ew, Khua Kai, Wonton Soup, Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli, and the Yellow Curry. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. It easily fed our family of four, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home.

If you’re craving truly authentic Thai food, this spot is definitely worth a visit. There was plenty of street parking available, and they also have additional parking behind the restaurant, which is super convenient.

The meals are always correct, and they are quick to prepare it. The staff is very pleasant, a nice change from the hustle and bustle of being in a big city. The food IS DELICIOUS!!! I usually order a lunch meal (very affordable) or the Panang Salmon. So good! If you like Thai food and have not tried Thai Tasty on Roscoe Blvd (I think it's across from where the old Van Nuys Drive-In used to be), I suggest you give them a try. Take out or dine-in.
