“Don’t think… just get in your car and go get Gelato from here. SERIOUSLY the best gelato and such sweet owners. You walk by the shop and immediately smell the sweet waffle cones, which are to die for. They have amazing new flavors all the time. Our families favorites are cookie dough, hazelnut, Nutella cookie, pistachio (when available) and matcha-to name a few. But honestly, we have not tried one we didn’t love! Go support local… support good quality and even better customer service!“

We wanted to try a Coachella Valley favorite- the date shake.
We came across Lappert’s and decided to give them a try.
The store has a fun vibe to it. The gentleman working was very friendly and helpful. It looks like they have a very broad and creative menu, and can make just about anything that one could imagine. My husband ordered the date shake and I opted for the small cup with 2 generous scoops.
The standard cookies and cream was probably the best version I have ever had. It appears as they make all of their ice cream themselves.
For my other scoop I tried the Navels and ganach. What I really liked was that it was an orange ice cream and not a sorbet.
It tasted like one of the boxed chocolate flavors.
I would say the real winner here was the date shake. It has a very unique flavor, but not too strong. They used date ice cream and vanilla ice cream.
I would definitely recommend Lappert’s!!“

“I work as a nanny for two girls 7 and 10 and they love to go get their vanilla ice cream there. Of course the 7-year-old wants sprinkles. Please don't hesitate to go here. Good location on the corner across from whole foods on 111. The people are nice, Courteous on the ice cream is delicious. A little expensive but a treat is good. Please go“

There ingredients are excellent and they have many options to choose from. I will definitely come back often. “Love this place and would eat daily if ice cream had the calories of salad. But sadly it is not. Took the family out tonight and was as great as always. My wife had cheesecake with graham crackers, I had the blueberry muffin (oh my god) in a waffle dish, while my daughter had a waffle cone with Oreo cream. Love having this place in our neighborhood.“
