“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. We will visit Palo Alto again if only to go back to Scotty's as a new tradition! Thank you, Sergio, for making our anniversary dinner a great one! Someone give him a raise!“

“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit.For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

“In truth, I recommend Jessica --the front desk-- who makes sure that I receive extra marinara as well as extra sauce Anglaise... for takeout. Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“

“On a warm, clear, windless evening fabulous views of the sunset from this rooftop bar. My wife and I ordered cocktails not on the menu, and they were well made. We had marinated olives with the drinks were large and meaty, The server Jessica was attentive and kept our water glasses filled. We expected the bar to be crowded on this Saturday evening but there were no crowds, perhaps because of an upcoming Stanford football kickoff, and the the noise level was low even with a DJ playing in the background. Definitely worth a visit. Reservations recommended.“

“My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate New Year's Eve, and it was a fantastic experience! Sam made us an amazing drink that we absolutely loved. The F&B Manager, Alejandra, was incredibly professional and sweet—she even surprised us with a small discount at the end, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Our server, Michael, was also excellent and provided great service throughout the evening. The live music was out of this world—it truly felt like we were in Hollywood! “This was my fourth trip back to wild onion, and the quality of the experience is consistently terrific. Staff could not be nicer and more accommodating, food is yummy and interesting with choices that make even brunch more exciting. The Bloody Mary was divine. I've gone there for lunch meetings, because the noise level is low enough that you can hear each other comfortably, and while it's an open layout, I never feel a lack of privacy. And the free valet parking, may they never discontinue that, makes it so easy to get in on time, and be stress-free. I like that the mood is casual enough that I don't feel I need to get dressy, but stylish enough that I make an effort. If you go for brunch, definitely get the Nueske's bacon, it's the best America produces and it's hard to get here in California. Bon appetit!“
