“First time here - my friend and I met in the area and decided to enter out of whim (we drove in 2hrs+ and Redwood is our meeting place). I had Matcha Hojicha latte and it's GOOD!! I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to adjust sweetness & ice, and dairy option available. Their drinks are crafted drinks and mine has many layered to it. I like that they used the matcha as a foam/topper. This is my new fave place. Too bad we don't have one in the area. @ Tong Sui - please open one in Livermore/Tracy/Brentwood area. This place doesn't accept cash but has online order and store pick up or use their kiosk. Tap pay or swipe are available here as well.“

“I heard a lot about this place from my friends, I got four jars, two mango mochi, which was my favorite!!! The coconut pudding is light and not too sweet which was perfect with the mango and the mochi. Mango sticky rice was good but there was too much red rice and the ratio wasn’t great. The strawberry matcha one was my least favorite, it didn’t taste of both and was bland.
It’s recommended to finish them the same day you get them, I noticed it started releasing water the next day.“

“I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve eaten at Crumble, and I’ve been eating here frequently for about 2 years now. Hands down. The cookies are so good , the ones I’m trying for the first time or the regular cookies they have . They are always fresh. No matter if you get the big size cookie or want to go with their mini. I usually buy a dozen of the minis or a box or 6 because, come on now. There’s no way I can only actually eat one or 2. I think mini is the perfect size. . So i highly recommend you stopping by a crumble location or ordering it for delivery. So I give 5 stars for here and can’t wait to get my 10 points for writing my review on here because that means I’m 10 points extra on getting my free cookie from there ! 😃“

“Sitting is good and power outlet are available if one needs to work on a laptop.
Do need to arrive early at times as it can get crowded. At those rimes parking can be an issue.
Prices for some drinks appear lower than at other locations.“

“Traveled from Texas and loved my experience . Enjoyed the customer service and of course enjoyed my Sandia Agua and freshly cut fruit… highly recommend 🤩 🍉!!!“
“This place is highly underrated -- I got a whole basque cheesecake for a birthday party and they were very accommodative (a human actually pickup the phone and gives great suggestions!). While picking up the cake, I got a matcha latte -- it was probably amongst the best I have had in the bay area. Their staff is lovely and very sweet! Parking can be tricky so be sure to park a bit further at the garage on glenwood and el camino [3-4m walk]. I cannot wait to try their delicious rolls -- unfortunately they were sold out on most since I went at 5:30pm!“

“So delicious! I ordered two boxes of baklava (1 mixed nut, 1 cashew-almond-pistachio) for my dad's birthday, and the whole family loved them. We especially enjoyed how light, crisp, and flavorful they were (not heavy or overly sweet at all), which makes them very easy to eat! Will definitely order again - I'm excited to try more flavors!“
“Amazing place for bubble tea and k-snack! It's clean and spacious. We ordered the Peach Mang fruit tea and the Mango shaved Ice- the milk ice was so soft and sweet ! Their Sotteok-sotteok and coffee are my favorite. Don't miss out the Korean chicken Bento either.
Highly recommend this place.“

“Hui Lau Shan in Cupertino is a classic Hong Kong-style dessert shop focused on fresh mango treats, specialty sweet soups, and traditional street-style snacks. Located right on Stevens Creek Boulevard, the interior has a clean, modern setup with bright lighting and comfortable seating that makes it a welcoming spot to drop in for a late-afternoon or evening sweet treat. Stacks of fresh mango boxes visible near the back immediately set high expectations for the quality of the fruit before you even step up to the counter to place your order.
The menu revolves almost entirely around fresh fruit, with mango taking center stage across various combinations of sago, coconut milk, and chewy mochi balls. The Pomelo & Mango with Sago was a standout dish during my visit, offering a great contrast between sweet mango, creamy coconut juice, and the slightly tart pop of fresh pomelo. Another favorite was the Mango Chewy Ball, which pairs cold sweet mango juice and fresh cut fruit with small, pillowy rice balls that add a satisfying texture to every bite.
Beyond the sweet bowl options, the hand-made snacks bring a nice variety to the experience. The mango mochi came out fresh with a soft, delicate outer layer wrapped around ripe mango chunks. If you want a savory break from all the sweetness, the spicy chili fish balls offer a springy texture with a solid kick of flavor that balances out the rich fruit desserts surprisingly well.
The ordering process at the counter was quick, and the service was prompt with food coming out shortly after sitting down. The dining space is kept clean and tidy, complete with thoughtful touches like wet wipes provided at the tables. It maintains a casual, low-pressure vibe whether you are stopping by for a quick drink like their iced lemon tea or sitting down with a group to share a few different bowls.
Overall, Hui Lau Shan delivers a vibrant and authentic Hong Kong dessert experience built on genuinely fresh fruit and well-balanced flavor combinations. The emphasis on real mangoes and chewy textures makes it a top choice when you want a refreshing alternative to standard ice cream or baked goods. It is the kind of place I would routinely pop into whenever I am in the area and craving a light, fruit-forward dessert.“
“Had dinner nearby in downtown sunnyvale and found this spot for dessert. Its a small store with minimum seating inside. I got the 4 tiramisu bundle for about $39. We wanted the mango but they ran out but the cashier suggested pistachio and was nice and helpful.
Ranking for the ones I got:
1) pistachio
2) biscoff
3) oreo
4) classic
Pretty decent taste. Good place to stop by if you are in the area.“

“absolutely amazing i’ve never felt so strongly about the place. my family and especially my father are very particular about taste preferences, and they ended up falling in love with it. the amount of toppings just made it better. it was not too sugary and not too bland, the drinks didn’t upset my stomach at all. we had a huge order of drinks and waffles yet it was delivered to us incredibly fast! the lady was so social and sweet and there were so many food options. this place has completely nailed it i can’t believe it’s not extremely popular yet. genuinely check this place out, i usually don’t care for feedback, but for this place i had to go out of my way to leave this review.“

“Service was fast and friendly. It was very clean and safe inside. The lime ice cream was yummy, right amount of sweet and tart flavor. My husband loved the Uchepos too but didn’t get pics of either because they ate too fast. I got the fresas con crema and added mango to it and it was sooo good.“

“I came all the way here from SF just because TikTok told me to. They definitely have a good variety to choose from. My kids already had a list that they wanted, so When I came and seen they served durian macarons, I had to get my mother 2! She loves any and everything durian. They’re all reasonable priced, $5-$6 each. And made to perfection and extremely cute. The shells are made to extreme perfection in my opinion! I would definitely come back. Parking is tricky but not impossible, so be aware.“

“Somisomi is a dessert shop that focuses on the combination of freshly made taiyaki and soft serve, creating a dessert experience that feels both nostalgic and modern. The concept is simple but works well: warm fish-shaped waffle cones filled with different flavors paired with creamy soft serve and toppings. The space is casual and easygoing, making it a fun stop for a quick dessert rather than a place you would spend a long time sitting.
The taiyaki is the main highlight and gives the desserts their signature appeal. The outside has a light crispness while the inside stays soft, creating a nice contrast with the cold soft serve. The fillings offer a good mix of classic and creative options, with red bean, custard, black sesame, and Nutella being some of the popular choices. The red bean keeps things traditional with a mild sweetness, while the black sesame adds a nuttier flavor that pairs especially well with the waffle texture. Nutella works well if you prefer something richer and more dessert-like.
The soft serve is what brings everything together, with flavors like matcha and ube standing out. The matcha has a noticeable tea flavor without becoming too intense, and the ube adds a sweeter, more dessert-focused option. Adding toppings like cookies or cereal gives the dessert extra texture and makes each order feel more customizable. The combination of warm taiyaki, cold soft serve, and different fillings is what makes Somisomi different from a typical ice cream stop.
Service is usually quick, which fits the style of the shop since most people come in for a treat on the go. The menu is straightforward, but there are enough combinations to make repeat visits interesting. Overall, Somisomi is a fun dessert spot that does a great job with a simple concept, especially if you enjoy Asian-inspired desserts and want something that balances warm, crispy, creamy, and sweet in one order.“
