“We had a fantastic dining experience here recently! If you are looking for a spot that strikes the perfect balance between a sophisticated wine selection and a diverse, food menu, this is it. The food quality remained consistently good across appetizers and entrees. The menu offered a great range of options, ensuring everyone at the table found something they loved.“

“We had Chocolate & Blueberry focaccia, which was truly excellent. Also two jar cakes: Pistachio and Tiramisu. The jar cakes, like the focaccia, were very nicely made from quality ingredients. But their flavors were quite subtle, and afterward we both thought that the eating pleasure we got from them wasn't worth the calories.“

“World Wraps in Palo Alto is fantastic — the food was amazing and the service was just as good. Huge shoutout to Julie for taking such great care of us. We accidentally messed up our order when we placed it through the app, and she jumped in right away to fix it without any hassle. She was quick, kind, and genuinely made sure everything came out exactly the way we wanted. We left happy, full, and really impressed. If you go, ask for Julie!“

“Daigo’s food is absolutely delicious. The ji kimedai was outstanding, and the Homemade ice cream dessert (MUST TRY!!) at the end was the perfect finish. It’s easily one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve had in the Bay Area in this price range.“

“Palo Alto Creamery is located in the heart of Palo Alto at 566 Emerson St, right at the intersection of Hamilton Ave and Emerson St, making it very easy to find. It’s a spacious restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and consistently great service.
The food is delicious and served quickly, even during busy times. This place is especially well known for its burgers, which are flavorful and satisfying. I personally loved the chicken wings the spicy and sweet flavors were spot on and the fries were crispy and tasty.
It’s an excellent spot for friends and family gatherings, whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a relaxed dining experience. Street-side parking is available, which is convenient given the central location.
Overall, a reliable and enjoyable place for good food, fast service, and a comfortable dining experience. Highly recommended!“

“From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like regulars — warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. Service was flawless all night: timely drink refills, thoughtful answers to menu questions, and spot-on recommendations that made ordering easy and fun.
The sushi is insanely fresh. Every roll and piece of nigiri tasted clean, perfectly cut, and beautifully balanced. Whether you’re into classic sashimi or more creative rolls, everything is done right. The menu is also impressively broad — not just sushi, but tempura, grilled dishes, and specialty items that clearly show how much they care about quality. Personally, I’m a big fan of the sake kama (salmon collar) — rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
The atmosphere strikes that rare balance of traditional and relaxed, making it ideal for date night or a special dinner with friends or family. We didn’t do a tatami room this time, but even the main dining area felt cozy and authentic. There’s real sushi culture here — not just good food, but the full experience.
Parking and reservations were easy (a huge win in Palo Alto), and I left already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for excellent sushi, genuinely kind staff, and a place that truly delivers on quality, this is it.“

“The food was absolutely delicious! As a regular consumer of Caribbean cuisine, I came in with my expectations in check—but I was pleasantly surprised. The portions were generous (I went for lunch and ended up skipping dinner). The subtle hint of coconut in the rice truly made my day and the curry goat was one of the best I’ve had in a long time—yes, I said it! The service was decent; although our orders got mixed up, the staff were very friendly and apologetic, which made up for it. Overall, a fantastic experience that I’ll definitely be coming back for.“

“The soondubu is DELICIOUS. Great flavor, spicy, and most importantly, unlimited rice and ban chan refills upon request. The price is a bit steep for soup ($20+) but the quality is worth it, given Bay Area food prices. Their other dishes are yummy too.“

“Loved eating here and I will be back. I have to admit, I am an enchilada snob and when I eat at a Mexican Restaurant, what I order the first time I eat there are enchiladas. Celia's, has good salsa, excellent enchiladas, I had the ground beef with red sauce, and the obligatory refried beans and rice were exceptional. Great atmosphere. My only complaint is the parking which needs to be expanded but I will park and walk here. It was that fabulous! Thank you, Celia's.“
“My wife and I online-ordered some goodies from Deja Vu recently. The best Chocolate Babka ever with lots of chocolate, a hint of cinnamon and very moist. They must have used a high quality of cocoa. You can taste the passion and love the chef put into her cakes. This is a local hidden gem!“

“Great flavor across several dishes that we got. We go with friends every couple years and it is still outstanding. I would say that the beverage service needs to be a little bit tightened up as I noticed that several of us could've used another drink, but were never asked.“

“This is a take away place. We had the kouign amann and chocolate croissant. Excellent. Chocolate croissant is not sugary with dark chocolate. Could have a bit more chocolate but high quality chocolate 🍫🍫🍫. baguette tends to sell out early here.“

“Our server was pleasant and efficient. We wish we had gotten his name to thank him personally on this review. Food portions were generous and nicely plated on good quality stoneware. The price point was good for the delicious assortments on the menu. We enjoyed the cocktails at $8.99. Out only objection was the background music that had a booming pulse. Perhaps this vibe is not our style. It makes conversation difficult.“

“What sets Kara’s Cupcakes apart is their outstanding variety of fruity flavors in addition to traditional ones. From the tropical passion fruit to the decadent banana-caramel or banana, the cakes are consistently moist and the flavors are incredibly vibrant. Paired with their signature smooth and creamy frosting, these cupcakes are a favorite for my whole family. A must-visit at Town & Country Village!“
