“I came here for a school field trip. The trip was amazing and super fun. Basically we tested their new robot system, and it was really cool. After we finished, we fought each other (the other kids). Also, the cafeteria was great, the “vending machines” were well stocked, and overall I had a great time. I wish I could go back and relive that day.“

“First time here, fairly busy. Lots of free parking. There were a few employees, but they aren't greeting anyone who walked in. Not sure if they take orders in person, but there are kiosks to order your food & they are easy to use for ordering. The food is good, made to order. We had to clean our own table, I didn't see any employees cleaning tables, they should work on that because it was busy. This place is open late night, I think 3AM some nights. You can eat inside or outside, there's heaters outside. And a bathroom for customers.“

“This is the best Nepali food in the silicon valley. The food is 100% authentic and fresh. They had the best thali I've had in a long time. The Thali comes on a brass dish just like in Nepal.

The tea and kheer are very flavorful.

The service is impeccable and welcoming. The staff will chat with you if you wish and are so happy to share Nepali culture.

The music is what actual Nepali people listen to instead of just Nepali classical

“We tried the Gyu King Ramen and the Original King Ramen.

The Gyu King (limited edition) was amazing!The broth had such a rich, deep beef flavor and tasted super comforting. Definitely worth trying while it’s available.

The Original King is always solid. I like adding a bit of the spicy sauce which cuts the richness and makes the soup feel lighter and more balanced.

“This is a welcoming restaurant with a very gracious manager! Three of us had lunch there on Sat. for the first time. We opted for indoor window seating but there is ample and comfortable outdoor seating, as well. The Wiener Schnitzel was tender, the Eggs Benedict tasty, the arugula salad fresh. Next time I will try the Jäger Schnitzel. The Sacher Torte was perfect! We were treated to extra birthday desert--without asking for it--which was a thoughtful gesture. Naschmarkt was spotless clean, and the kitchen ventilation works well. It is very suitably located at the quieter side of California Avenue, close to public parking.“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. “We love our Sunday breakfasts at Joanie's Cafe. A cup of wonderful Guatemalan coffee is brought to us as soon as we sit down. Coffee refills are ongoing throughout our breakfast. Eggs Benedict and the fresh fruit are our food favorite items. “To be honest this place can be the best place for me in Palo Alto! As a person who was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey this place is a gem for me. I love the variety of the food, their espresso tastes awesome (better than some other chain stores) and stuff is always so lovely and caring. Their breakfast is the closest breakfast to real Turkish cuisine. They even brought İzmir boyoz before! The store can be small but very bright and airy. Highly recommended!!!“

It really might be what I ordered but for 30 dollars with the substitutions the Gardena soufflé is really underwhelming. But the dishes my friend ordered as well as dishes on tables near us looked much more flavorful and interesting so I’m not docking much from my rating. But overall i left a little disappointed. I would recommend trying something besides the soufflés as I suspect that’s where I made my mistake.“

Armando was our server and too went above and beyond for us as well, evening splitting a complicated check to us . The food was outstanding, the pies to die for.
