Evvia is the only restaurant that I can think of that, over more than 3 decades, the quality of the food and service has not diminished a bit! Staff is fabulous! “I came here for a school field trip. The trip was amazing and super fun. Basically we tested their new robot system, and it was really cool. After we finished, we fought each other (the other kids). Also, the cafeteria was great, the “vending machines” were well stocked, and overall I had a great time. I wish I could go back and relive that day.“

“This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The food was very flavorful. We especially loved the dish called Tendhuk. It is a unique dish which was awesome. The dessert Lalmohan was super tasty. A must try. Portion sizes were good for appetizer and main course. Only dessert seemed a bit expensive for the portion size given. But overall a very good experience and I would reccommend this place to friends and also come again.“

“As usual, Ramen Nagi has a long wait. Sometimes there are lulls in the line, which is when I happened to get in. The line is outside, so be prepared for the weather. When you get close to the front, they give you a sheet to fill out on what you want. I got the squid ink with everything the usual except with lower sodium and a 4 on spice. I should have asked for more spice, 4 was not that spicy! I also like the thick noodles, the thin ones are a little too thin. The meat on the top of the squid ink ramen was scrumptious!!

The service, once they get you seated, is super fast. I added the bean sprouts from the table to mine! We also split a chicken kaarage, which was yummy. I had enough to take home a little in a too go box!“

“This is my wife and I's go to spot whenever we are at the mall. We may not shop for anything but will always get the bowls at World Wrapps. Love that they can substitute tofu in any of the bowls - makes it great for vegetarians as well. The sauces add a lot of flavor so the pro tip is to get that on the side with the Ube Horchata :)“

“In truth, I recommend Jessica --the front desk-- who makes sure that I receive extra marinara as well as extra sauce Anglaise... for takeout. Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“

“The chicken is cooked to perfection and the naan bread is good as well. My only complaint is as our group was halfway through our meal, the waitress came over to ask if we wanted dessert. After we said probably not as we were still working on what we had ordered, she then asked if she can close the tab. I felt extremely rushed. Perhaps give your customers sufficient time to finish their meal before asking whether they want dessert (while everyone was still eating) and demanding payment (her exact words were “who’s paying) at that very moment. I like what we had ordered but not sure if i would want to be back again after last nights experience. We were only there for about an hour before she asked us to pay the bill. Service at this restaurant really can use some improvement. The timing of this waitress really ruined the whole experience.“

“Many promotions going on, they have eat for under $10 and I was more than full. Also they have a gift card deal and more discounts when leaving a review that I am taking advantage of! This place is very well priced and you can tell everything is fresh. I saw the girl cutting up all the vegetables from scratch. “I’ve been coming to Kowa since it’s opened in 2020. Always wonderful staff, not too loud, great quality ramen at reasonable price. I honestly think it tastes much better than Ramen Nagi, which is way too oily and always super crowded with a long line. As a palo alto resident, I highly recommend this cute ramen place!“

“We love our Sunday breakfasts at Joanie's Cafe. A cup of wonderful Guatemalan coffee is brought to us as soon as we sit down. Coffee refills are ongoing throughout our breakfast. Eggs Benedict and the fresh fruit are our food favorite items. The wait staff is exceptional. -Long time employees who add to our enjoyment of our breakfast. \nLovely outdoor seating next to festive Sunday Farmers' Market.“

“While it’s a beautiful place and great location, I wasn’t particularly blown away by the food. It really might be what I ordered but for 30 dollars with the substitutions the Gardena soufflé is really underwhelming. But the dishes my friend ordered as well as dishes on tables near us looked much more flavorful and interesting so I’m not docking much from my rating. But overall i left a little disappointed. I would recommend trying something besides the soufflés as I suspect that’s where I made my mistake.“

“A large group of folks from our workplace decided to visit a Turkish Middle eastern restaurant as we were coming to the end of an event. It was decided to gather at the Anatolian Kitchen at 5 pm. I was able to find the parking within 2 minutes walking distance which was a huge plus considering I was not local and drove my own car. The server was patient enough as all of us arrived, gathered and decided to order or drinks. Once we were all in, we were helped with the selection of starters followed by the main course. Everything tasted delicious and there wasn't one person in the group of 12 that had anything bad to say. As we getting done, we were told about the family style platter of desserts. We ordered a few for the table and it made the evening close nicely. Delicious food with great service and perfect music that we could lightly listen to but wasn't too loud to not let us talk.“

We had an unwanted guest at one point (a wasp) & the staff immediately took action to move us inside. Not pictured was a delicious peach torta, consumed within seconds. “We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. We will visit Palo Alto again if only to go back to Scotty's as a new tradition! Thank you, Sergio, for making our anniversary dinner a great one! Someone give him a raise!“

“Palo Alto Creamery is located in the heart of Palo Alto at 566 Emerson St, right at the intersection of Hamilton Ave and Emerson St, making it very easy to find. It’s a spacious restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and consistently great service.

The food is delicious and served quickly, even during busy times. This place is especially well known for its burgers, which are flavorful and satisfying. I personally loved the chicken wings the spicy and sweet flavors were spot on and the fries were crispy and tasty.

It’s an excellent spot for friends and family gatherings, whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a relaxed dining experience. Street-side parking is available, which is convenient given the central location.
