“Good quality always. I have been there a few times back in 2023 and 2024. The tastes and quality never changed. Very nice service and environment. Seems like that could serve up to party of 8. But may need to wait during peak hours. Very convenient for a workday lunch if you work nearby.“

“had my birthday dinner here, and it was a lovely experience! the staff was so accomodating and kind, and we really loved the patio seating with heaters that kept us warm even in the cold rainy weather. the atmosphere is quaint and the food is delicious. amazing portions for the price! we thoroughly enjoyed pad thai, pad see ew, tom yum soup, kimchi fried rice, and crying tiger (an amazingly tender, smoky steak served with sticky rice) along with a handful of appetizers like salmon wraps and fried tofu. everything was really yummy, and we had plenty of leftovers. 6 of us feasted for about $200, with tip included in that amount. I tipped extra at the end because the staff was so kind and patient with us, even though we were the last to leave after their closing time.“

“I went here many times and it’s amazing! I love their seafood soup and rice. It’s wonderful. The quality is amazing and i also love some of the noodles they have! their service is amazing as well, the workers give the biggest smiles and feel welcoming. And the. Atmosphere, don't even get me startedd! They recently decorated for Christmas and the tree is amazing! Amazing place and i highly recommend“

“Moom 48 Thai in Pasadena absolutely delivers on flavor. I ordered the Panang Curry, and it was incredible — rich, creamy, and full of depth. The balance between the coconut milk sweetness, the subtle spice, and that aromatic Thai basil was spot on. It had just the right amount of heat to wake up your palate without overpowering the dish.
The texture of the curry was silky and perfectly clung to the rice, making every bite warm and satisfying. You can tell the ingredients are fresh — the vegetables still had a nice crispness, and the sauce tasted homemade, not overly salty or heavy.
The restaurant itself has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive without hovering, which made the whole experience even better.
In short: Moom 48 Thai captures that perfect mix of comfort and authenticity. If you’re craving curry that hits every note — spicy, creamy, aromatic, and satisfying — the Panang is the move.“
