“Oakobing is a must-try for dessert lovers! After seeing rave reviews across social media, we decided to check it out on a weeknight. It was quiet since we visited late, but that gave us the perfect chance to enjoy our dessert without the usual crowds. We ordered the green tea shaved ice with tiny mochis, and it was delicious. The texture reminded us of Taiwan night market treats, although this is a Korean dessert spot. The shaved ice was delicate and fluffy, offering a light, refreshing sweetness.
The place itself is small but has a bright, modern vibe, and the service was quick and friendly. There’s paid parking available on the side, which is convenient enough. Oakobing specializes in Korean-style shaved ice (bingsoo) with many flavors and milkshake options to choose from. The portions are just right for sharing, making it the perfect spot for a sweet indulgence with friends. If you’re looking for a unique dessert experience, Oakobing won’t disappoint!“

“Ice Cream is always so good here. Prompt service, very nice employees. Their waffle bowl could be a little more flavorful but that’s a personal preference. Got their hot fudge sundae waffle bowl with banana cream pie and vanilla ice creams and ate every bit. Definitely recommend a stop here“

“Hello Gelato stands out among the many frozen sweet shops in Old Town Pasadena. The flavors taste exactly like they're supposed to, rich and delicious. The texture is dense and smooth. I like chocolate and mint chip, and my husband swears by the stracciatelli. Bonus: you'll often meet the owner himself scooping behind the counter. A great little local business!“

“It's one of my favorite locations of Afters. This place has nice decor outside. It's all outdoor seating. You walk up to the window and there's a person there to take your order. This location only takes credit card and tap (Apple/ Google pay). No cash.
There are a lot of good flavors, but I prefer the Ube brownie. I have yet to try their sweet bun. I like the waffle cone, but just like any waffle cone, they're messy to eat because they leak at the bottom. I'm not sure if they charge, but I saw a few people ask for an additional cup with their regular cake cone.
When we arrived there wasn't a line, but there was after we ordered. Lol. Thank goodness we got there before the wave of people came. Lots of parking around the place also.“

“Went in with my daughter on Wednesday afternoon 5/29 and the girl helping us did such a great job. She was inviting, engaging, and had a positive attitude. Most importantly she was consistently like that with all the customers that came in. Her co worker was just as efficient. Nice job team. Keep it up. Good service is a lost art form.“

“Google searched and found this Baskin Robbins. It was very easy to find and had plenty of parking. Our server Pauline was pleasant and helpful. She gave us her thoughts on a few flavors we were considering and offered us samples too! The wild n reckless sherbert was what my husband decided to go with, it has a sweet and sour kick! If that's what you're going for, give this flavor a try. The place was very clean and not crowded. I've now got a Pasadena Baskin Robbins location to visit when I'm in town. Thanks for the new sweet and sour flavor!“

“My sweet tooth is why Carrara’s made it on my Pasadena Do See Taste list.
I was looking forward to trying their gelato, but the flavor selections seemed typical so I selected one of their pastries in stead. I was in the mood for a tropical flavor and there was only strawberry or lemon and since it wasn’t on display I wasn’t enticed as I eat with my eyes first.
The peach mango mousse special of the day was scrumptious! The packaging was so elegant! It felt like an experience when I opened the box to taste my treats. Their pastries look divine! It was hard not to pick more. I also opted for an Italian cookie/tart filled with a vanilla custard and topped with almonds and pine nuts. Also very good.
In the mood for a fancy sweet treat, it’s worth a stop @ Carrara’s.
Parking: 15 mins free in the garage next door.“

“Very cool place. They were busy and each order takes a bit of time so don't go if you're in a rush. Super fun for the kids to watch the process. We got 6 different items and they were all very good. I wish they had this place on the East Coast.“
