“We decided to give them a try and were absolutely delighted by their service and quality of food. They took our order just before their closing and we picked up the order in 25 minutes. We ordered chicken koobideh, chicken thigh, and beef koobideh wraps (fries on the side) and they all were extremely delicious with generous portions. They also have ready to go food and their cucumber yogurt and olivieh salad were very good and tasty. We'll be back for sure. Thank you to the team at Aiden's. The flavors are rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care—everything tastes fresh, perfectly seasoned, and true to traditional Persian cooking. From the tender, juicy kabobs to the fragrant rice and sides, the menu offers a comforting, home-style quality that’s hard to find.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get, making it an excellent value. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. You can tell the team genuinely cares about their food and their customers.

While the atmosphere is more simple and casual and could use some upgrades, the food more than makes up for it. During our visit, they were unfortunately out of a few menu items, but even with limited options, what we ordered was outstanding and left us wanting to come back to try more.

We ordered two sandwiches:
one chicken breast with cheese, and one chicken breast with mushrooms and cheese, plus one order of fries.
Total came to $42.

Everything was very tasty, fresh, and well prepared.
The owner who made the sandwiches was very kind and friendly, which made the experience even better.

The place itself is small and simple, with a small indoor counter and high chairs, and a few outdoor seats next to the laundromat.
The area was clean, calm and pleasant.

Overall a nice local spot with good food and great attitude.

“Probably the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. I tried the chicken kebab—it was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The rice was flavorful. Hummus was amazing. The side salad with the beet dressing added the cherry on top. Will definitely be back!“

“The wine bar you wish you could stumble upon every night! Great Persian food- you can tell they use fresh farmers market produce. And arguably the best natural wine list in town. This spot is a real gem. Get the Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi or the Fesenjan - both delicious stews. And their tarts for dessert are excellent.

Vegetarian options: Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi, shallot dip, Shirazi salad (cherry tomatoes and cucumber), cucumber dip

“Since I was born, kabob has been my favorite food, full stop. I’ve had kabob all over LA County. They charge you $38 at Raffi’s and Pardis for a kabob barg plate, give you the same amount of meat, and fill the plate with rice. Masis Kabobs’ food has no flavor; they don’t marinate their meat correctly and don’t cook their tomato enough, as it’s always mostly raw.
Harry over at Moon Mart Kabob gives you the best kabob, jigar, and abgoosht. If it’s you and a few friends, go over to Moon Mart Kabob, and you’ll realize why it’s so good, in my opinion. He charges you $20 for kabob barg, and he’s such a nice guy that you’ll be really happy eating there and giving him your business—not just because of his niceness, but also because he knows his stuff.“

“I had a delightful Iranian breakfast at Cafe de Alley in Los Angeles. The owner is a very friendly gentleman who made my experience truly special. The food was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit. I highly recommend this cafe and will definitely be returning!“

I wanted to make an update since some things have changed since I initially wrote my first review. This is still easily one of my top three Mediterranean spots in the area. The flavors are always on point, the portions are generous, and the quality has stayed consistent over time. One thing that has changed, though, is the gradual price increase. The chicken kabob plate, which comes with hummus, pita, rice, and salad, used to be about $17 but is now closer to $20 or more. I feel a little conflicted because for the taste and portion size it still feels worth it. At the same time, if you are bringing a date or ordering for more than one person you should expect to spend a bit more than you might anticipate.“
