“This is the best place in LA for teriyaki. I got the chicken and beef plate. The sauce is sweet and delicious, the chicken is perfectly grilled with a nice charbroiled flavor, and the beef is tender. Make sure you add the fresh avocados which pair perfectly with the meat and rice. I enjoyed adding the complimentary hot yellow chilies as well.

This is my third visit here and tonight the beef seemed a little bit fattier than usual like it wasn't trimmed enough, but other than that, everything was perfect. I will be back.“

Had a sore throat due to this shitty December weather and it was very delicious and soothing. Little pricey but the quality is worth the price.“

“I ordered "Tony's Special" and that was a French toast combo. You had a choice of hash browns or diced potatoes. I chose diced potatoes and they were ok ,they could have used a little more bell peppers and onions. My husband ordered a small menudo. It was a perfect size for a side dish. He said it was fine it could have used more meat. He ordered huevos rancheros with meat on top. He said the meat was dry and had no flavor. Maybe next time we will let the waiter/waitress know how we would like the meat cooked. Everything else was good. There green salsa has a kick so watch out. We sat by a window and could feel the heat coming from outside even with the shades down. The place is outdated and needs a remodel. It has a 70's feel to it. They have enough room for a wheelchair to pass around. They have 2 handicap parking spots in front. They have a small waiting area with a bench.

“Love the place, can’t beat the price, but lord some of this workers are clueless … I asked if there’s dairy in specific milk tea, normally it’s very straight forward , they use either regular milk or plant/non-dairy milk, and first time there’s a Boba place telling me they don’t know if there’s dairy or not, she said “probably, I don’t make them so I don’t know”.

“Last week we took my mother for her 70th birthday to Los Amores de Julia. We were visiting from Seattle, and went in just based on pictures and reviews. I can’t tell how amazing our visit was: from the beautiful atmosphere when we walked in; to friendly staff; to delicious cocktails and dinner; to a surprise special birthday song with a sombrero, a serape, a light show, and a flan being kissed with the torch right in front of us to give it a lovely crunch as a crème brûlée has. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and served the most delicious Mexican food I’ve had. Thank you, Los Amores de Mexico, for a perfect evening of celebration for our family.“
