“Had the menudo and a cheese pupusa. The pupusa was a very tasty snack served with salsas. The menudo was amazing - it had a spicy kick that just hit the spot & will live on in my dreams. We ate in the beautiful covered patio out back that kindly allowed our dog.”
“What a great surprise to find in the town of Piru! A friend had recommended we go so we did. Really nice place, coffee house style cafe with imaginative drinks and food. You walk in and feel like you're visiting someone's well decorated home. Lots of things to look at on the walls, comfortable seating and a chill vibe. Up the stairs is a small bar serving wine and beer as well as small food menu. Highly recommended.”
“Tacos are good, seating areas could use more shade or parasols and the restroom should be more amenable and not restricted to employees.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility to restroom available.”
“Let me start with I saw the promoted ads for this all over the place for the past 3 weeks and I kept wanting to try it but Moorpark was out of the way for me. I had a work meeting this morning and figured why not ill get it for everyone. As for thinking about it for the past three weeks and the hype growing, the bar was set high in my mind. The food was absolutely amazing. The bread is soft as can be and the interior ingredients were warm as well. The bread is AMAZING. I cant wait to go back. If you havent been here yet, you need to go ASAP. I also got a buy one get one free card for it being my first time and they have a rewards tracker to get more free stuff! Green salsa tastes good but the orange hot sauce is phenomenal! Its almost like a twist on Tabasco! Wish I would have got more of those! Will definitely be back again soon.”
“My wife and I had a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Munay. Their special was an amazing four course dinner with some of the best Bruchetta we've ever had, veggie bisque, we split an outstanding Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes to die for and some of their pesto pasta, and finally had a fun chocolate mousse/white chocolate shell dessert that with what seemed to be spun sugar that they lit on fire. The staff were fantastic, welcoming, and quick. The ambiance was fun Valentine's Day hearts and pseudo candles in a warm environment.Overall, it was an outstanding experience and we can't wait to return soon.”
“What a culinary experience! Chef shared various samples with us (garbanzo, garlic spread and chocolate spread). We ended up ordering the spicy garbanzo bowl, chickpea wrap and a large garlic spread. The food was amazing and I can't wait to come back to try the other items!”
“If you're looking for a delicious place to eat traditional Mexican carnitas, this is by far the most superior spot. Dont let the huge line out the door scare you away, they move very fast.Traditional hand made tortillas, fresh food and great customer service, you can't go wrong.”
“Every single time that I visit the Moorpark Denny's, it's a pleasant, great, wonderful, delicious, visit. The waiters and waitresses are the best of the best. Their smiling face and warm heartfelt greeting keep bringing me back. Which is alot of times during the week!!! I constantly see regulars there and that says ALOT!Thank you so much.Parking: It's a huge parking lot. Even if one has to park further away, it's not that far to walk.”
“Excellent customer service. The owner is so friendly and greets everyone as if she's a long time friend. I ordered the mushroom & cheese steak hoagie and it really hit the spot. I loved that the sandwich was hot and fresh off the grill when it was served. A full size is a pretty decent size and will fill you up. My coworker recommended this place and so glad I went! Must try if you’re in the Simi Valley area.”
“We went in for their lunch special. It came with an appetizer, salad & wontons. I ordered the yellow curry (mild because I’m a wuss). It was absolutely delicious and exactly what I was looking for. My husband enjoyed his delicious meal, pepper garlic, as well. Highly recommend!”
“Love this place! Owner is a sweetheart, so nice. Food is FANTASTIC! Got the brunch enchilada , OMG!!! Definitely worth checking out. No liquor license yet, but they are working in it ..”
“Very good ? pizza options, all on a thin crust, and several pasta options. They also serve beer and wine, but they have no ice for sodas. Nice to have a good place to go for pizza that is somewhat unique from the standard places. Nice to have this in Moorpark's Target center. We will return.”
“These guys hit it on all that counts! The service was great from the second I walked in until I left! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun! That's a lot of exclamation points but they earned it! I started with the House Margarita with Chips and Salsa, both were great but the salsa was to die for. I had the Fajitas El Patron for dinner, OMG...the steak and chicken were so tender they could both be cut with a fork and the flavor was spectacular. Loved the shrimp too and the veggies were caramelized to perfection. Can't wait to come back!”
“Weekly pop up BBQ offerings with pick up in Simi Valley. I love their modern and innovative twist on classic BBQ dishes.Make sure you sign up to their weekly newsletter, pre-orders are made available through Tock every Wednesday. Pick up are Saturday and walk up are offered some Sundays.”
“Great Sunday with friends in Moorpark and decided to grab lunch here! We ordered a variety of dishes to share. I got the iced Thai tea. Dishes were ok not that was amazing really but not bad. Great customer service and cute decor! That's what makes it an overall 3.5 for me. Still a good place to grab a bite :)”
“My friend and I came here for the 1st time. We had heard many good things. This place did not disappoint. The food was very good. We really enjoyed each item we got. I recommended this establishment. Please note because of the shape of the building it can get quite loud inside.”
“Great place next to the boxing classes. My son and daughter love this place. Fresh fruit and delicious Acai. Great customer service and clean environment...Thank you team.Dietary restrictions: Nut freeParking: Easy location in the plaza for parking.”
“This is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Tucked in the back of a car dealership makes for the perfect atmosphere. Our waitress Destiny was amazing. If I lived here I'd be here every week.”
“We had a girls day plan go to Moorpark and this was on top of of foodie list. I had been planning to go to Calioh for months. I invited my amigas to come with! I love their concept and what they stand for. I live in Oxnard but did not mind driving down for great coffee! That iced horchata latte was heavenly! The Latin pop that was playing , awesome. I love that they have touches of Mexico all over ! I am Mexican and I loved seeing their decor! The Mexican inspired drinks are awesome. I had been searching for a great horchata latte! Nayeli , JC ,Lucy had the best customer service. I just wish they were located closer so that I could visit more frequently!”
“Really great place. They have a lot of local beers on tap such as Enegren, Topa Topa, Made West, along with a few others. They have big TVs all around with sports games on, it gives more of a sport bar vibe than a Mexican restaurant. The service was really fast and friendly. The food was really good I had the Carne Asada Tacos Street Style and the Chicken Nachos. I feel the Tacos were a little pricey at $3.75 each however the Chicken Nachos which I think were $12 were really good and came with lots of toppings and the Guacamole that comes on the Nachos was tasty as well. Over all great place to chill and eat some great Mexican food.”
“Great place, good beer, good food. The owners are pro active in trying to make this establishment the best it can be, very impressed with their ability to remember a face and name. My wife and I vowed to try to frequent this local establishment once a week if possible!”
“Excellent beers with a focus on the locally neglected Irish, Scottish, and English styles. Stout lovers will always find something well worth drinking on offer, and will have cause to celebrate if Swannie is on tap. The brewer likes to experiment with new offerings, and manages to keep new beers interesting without feeling overly gimmicky. The wide selection of delicious lower alcohol session beers and the relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to sit and have a long talk or play a game with friends. Food trucks, live music, and events like trivia night are often on offer. The owner/operates are a pair of characters clearly doing what they love, and have put together the best local pub I've had the pleasure to visit regularly.”
“Food was amazing!!! Best Indian food I have ever had, and I've tried many places in the past. I'm so happy this restaurant opened up in Simi Valley- definitely our family to go place. We ordered chicken masala, paneer pakora, garlic naan, and veggie biryani. So delicious, can't wait to try other things on the menu next time.”
“Andy was absolutely amazing. He took care of us and did everything he could to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious, especially the falafel pita. He went the extra mile to offer us sides and coffee. We felt like we'd joined a friend for dinner.”
“Ok so I am pretty new to the Thousand Oaks area and have been on a hunt to find a great coffee shop. I’ve made a list and have tried a good amount of local shops but to be honest haven’t been too impressed compared to trying coffee in the deep of LA. I was craving a smooth expresso for some reason this Saturday night and decided to continue my search and figured I’d give California Coffee a try. It was a little hard to find because it’s tucked away in a cute little alley next to brewery’s and beautiful lights. I tried my classic iced vanilla latte and my barista who I didn’t get his name (had a pretty impressive beard) asked me how I liked my coffee which I have never been asked before. This coffee was elite, super smooth, and velvety. I LOVED IT. I will definitely be coming back and thank you to the kind bearded barista that made me such a great latte. Definitely come here if you are a coffee snob like me and looking for amazing expresso, a cute atmosphere, and superior service. :)”
“Absolutely amazing. A magician in the kitchen and a forgotten and rare breed of chef crossing all cultural boundaries. Latin American, middle eastern, Japanese and more. It's all amazing”
“Mario is such a cool guy. Food is awesome. Prices are steller. Family owned, appreciative of the business and just an all around nice place that under promises and over delivers.”
“In-n-out is a 5 star experience not to mention the 5 star low price tag. For those who dislike anything that has a scent of California attached to it, from the deep south states to the east coast, those same people clammer for an original taste of In-n-0ut.Dietary restrictions: Protein style burger: lettuce replaces the bun.Parking: In-n-0ut is a favorite of every town and is busy most of the day, so parking can be a challenge.Kid-friendliness: Kids and families are welcome. Casual setting.Wheelchair accessibility: Most to all facilities are wheelchair accessible and have several wheelchair accessible parking stalls.”
“Our group definetely had fun in this restaurant. I particularly didn't enjoy the fact that my pizza was oily. But besides that it was good. The waiters were flexible and didn't delay to bring our orders. I appreciate that a lot.”
“Just a Local Pizza Joint you should stop by if your in town. Fresh ingredients. Delicious pizza. Very simple. Very yummy. Try their Wings and Sammiches. Pretty good eats.Very chill environment. The Town Firefighters love this place.Support Local. Support Small businesses.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Pizza so delicious. Fresh ingredients. Simple and Tasty. Felt light and not too heavy.Parking: Park on the street.”
