“Giving this place 4 stars but it really deserves 3.5 stars, and i'm saying this because of the consistency.. this is a GRREATTT sandwich spot, and i love it, everything on the menu is great and the ingredients taste fresh as if they were cut that same day. however, my go-to sandwich here is the spicy snow plover and even though it is great, there are VARYING inconsistencies. I just don't appreciate how one day i can get a full sandwich and other days it's the thinnest slices of meat in between bread .. if it were actually consistent and i were to get the same sandwich every time, i would have a better review. I would be weary about the time you come in cause that could mean less meat/a lesser quality sandwich. I used to say that that this place really upheld to quality standards but after getting the SAME exact sandwich twice in one week and both looking completely different.. i can clearly tell that the quality lessens depending on what time you order.
I would recommend to check out, but also proceed with caution, cause depending on the day you might get an appropriate amount of meat, and other days they might skimp you“

“This is the best kept secret in SLO! The deli is amazing!!!! They have unbelievably delicious and HUGE sandwiches, the best fried zucchini, amazing breakfast sandwiches and burritos…and that’s all I’ve tried so far, but I look forward tot trying more items. The prices are great for how much food you receive. And the staff is very friendly! There is some seating inside as well as a back patio. The market is also well stocked. You wouldn’t know this place exists unless you know…it’s inside of the store at the gas station, and it has become one of my favorite delis in SLO (against tough competition!). I love it.“

“It’s been a long time so, I was in the neighborhood and I stopped in. It was a great experience, the young lady on the register was bright, bubbly, and made ordering fun. A great spot to be able to stop at, Get a quick, delicious reasonably priced, custom made for you meal to eat while you enjoy sitting down and resting your feet and having a little bit of comfortable, relaxing and quiet time to yourself. The plus is that this subway shares a parking lot with 3 or 4 other shops. There is almost always 1 or 2 free and open parking spots available. If you park there to go to Subway. Then once you have finished dining at Subway. Just inform the Subway counter person that you want to leave your car parked in their parking lot for a while as you do some downtown shopping/exploring. They will allow you to keep your car parked there for an hour or so if you simply notify them.

“This Subway sandwich shop is very convenient for a quick bite.

It is easy to park and inexpensive. The shop is comfortable, clean, and the service is great.

The $6.99 daily combo is a great deal. You get a drink, a bag of chips, or two cookies to go with your sandwich.

The kids' meal sounds good also. However, there is only a limited choice, and the processed meat is not to my liking. Otherwise, it would be a perfect size meal for me.

My meatball sandwich was pretty tasty. However, I would be happier if I knew the additional $1.75 charge for more meat to upgrade my meatballs before I placed my order.“
