“I've been eating at Kona’s Deli since the 1990s, and it’s still one of my favorite sandwich spots in San Luis Obispo. The quality has always been consistent—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and unbeatable flavor. My go-to orders are the tuna with cheddar and the Pipeline—both are absolutely delicious. The bread is especially great, soft with just the right amount of chew. My only complaint is that I wish they had longer hours during the week—I can only make it in on weekends due to my work schedule. Still, always worth the wait. Kona’s is a true SLO staple.“

“Now that Frank's is gone this is the best breakfast burrito in town. No frills, simply egg, potato, cheese, choice of meat and pico de gallo in a good tortilla. I highly recommend the linguica. I do wish they would put a couple jalapenos in the pico though, its needs a little more spice.“

“When I was younger, I had a sandwich that was so good and so delicious it never left my mind, but because I was young, I never paid attention so I didn’t know what sandwich shop made that sandwich. Ever since then I’ve been looking for that sandwich not actively, but it was always in the back of my mind.
I had that sandwich in a mall that wasn’t in my town. So maybe that’s why I wasn’t ever able to find it, but recently Capriotti’s opened up in my location and I tried a classic cheese stick sandwich.
When I took that bite of that sandwich, I lit up like if I had finally found what I have been looking for. The taste was so familiar so comforting. It’s like it took me back in time to when life or simple, fun enjoyable. I will forever be grateful to Capriotti’s for making some of the best sandwiches that I will ever ever try in this lifetime. Thanks Capriotti’s.“

“It’s been a long time so, I was in the neighborhood and I stopped in. It was a great experience, the young lady on the register was bright, bubbly, and made ordering fun. My sandwich was out in a matter of minutes and was very good. Even better yet, was they have K-LOVE playing for their radio choice. Definitely a five star experience.“
“A San Luis Obispo institution. They make a good sandwich. I had one of their signature sandwiches, the Dutch Punch or something like that. Lots of sandwich filling for sure. Good bread. Kind of pricey at around $15 per sandwich. It is a take out place, with a few places to sit outside. I’d come here again. Closes at 4 it seems.“

“The Subway in San Luis Obispo always gives great customer service. The staff members are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful when taking orders or answering questions. The wait time is usually very minimal, even when it gets a little busy, which makes the experience smooth and convenient. The food is always fresh, and they make the sandwiches exactly how you want them. Overall, it’s a clean, quick, and reliable spot for a good meal.“
