“Tucked away in quiet street in busy Diamond Bar, behind the throngs of strip mall shops is a little Thai restaurant. The decor is calming and everything looked new.

Instead of a lunch special, I opted for a full meal and had plenty of leftovers. The Pad See You was excellent with chunks of chicken and flavorful. I also opted for the Beef Satay appetizer. However the portion was huge and dinner size at $15. I spent more than I wanted for lunch but had a second meal. Now that I’m closer to Mt Sac during lunch, I’m exploring all the options that busy Diamond Bar has to offer.

We were intrigued because it occupies the same space as Supatra's, a spot we used to frequent years ago before the change in ownership. We called ahead to make a reservation and were seated promptly within a minute of our arrival. My wife follows a gluten-free vegan diet, and Thai food has always been a reliable choice for her. She called in advance to ensure options were available, and the staff was accommodating. Our server, Paul, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure the kitchen was informed about my wife's dietary needs, making the experience seamless and stress-free. Here's what we ordered: Tom Kha Soup: Excellent, bursting with rich and vibrant flavors. Summer Rolls: My wife loved them--fresh and perfectly prepared. Mango Mood drink: Another hit, beautifully balanced and refreshing. Wine: A familiar choice for my wife that paired well with the meal. String Beans and Eggplant: Very delicious, with bold and flavorful seasoning. Crying Tiger: Unfortunately, this dish didn't meet my expectations and is one we wouldn't recommend. Now I live out of state and I have to have it every time I come into town to visit family! I'm addicted to their Yellow curry! Whether I do take out or dine in they are always consistent and delicious! Their staff is so helpful and nice! We recently had a take out order that wasn't great and when we called they immediately offered to remake it or give us a credit for next time. I can't wait to go back next month!“

“Tried Thai 7 Bistro for the first time and loved it!! My wife and I ordered take out and enjoyed each dish. The Chicken Pad Thai was right there with my favorite pad Thai dishes I’ve had. The flavor was on point with juicy chicken, peanuts, and lime. We also ordered the yellow curry with tofu. Their yellow curry had a great depth of flavor with the creaminess of the coconut milk and a nice mild curry flavor. To top it off I got the Thai iced tea, always a great drink! I was craving sticky rice with mango, so he called in the order for us, along with other plates such as orange chicken and steamed rice. The process was fast and easy, and we were greeted by a very friendly staff. To our pleasant surprise, they included complimentary Thai tea with our purchase. The sticky rice was absolutely delicious—perfectly sweet and satisfying. The Thai tea was also a highlight: refreshing and just the right level of sweetness. We will definitely be coming back. Walked in with my husband in mid-Dec, we both are Green / Red chicken curry lovers, price is right, enjoyable food, strongly recommend. Then, got lunch special take out today, it was fast prepared. Brought it home, food temperature and taste remained Hot/Delicious as we expected. Definitely would visit or take out again.“

They were able to make both dishes with varied spice levels. They came out just right. Service was also quick and very courteous. Will come back for sure. “This restaurant is so clean and the service is great! We came here tonight (Thursday night). Thought we were yhe only people dining in the restaurant, they had so much foot traffic for pick up orders.
Let me tell you, the food was DELICIOUS. The flavors were bold, on point, and authentic. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal,and so did my family. We even ordered 2 more dinner dishes for take out after our meal since we liked it so much.
Best part of all is that this restaurant is EXTREMELY affordable. If they keep their prices right where it's at, we will definitely be regulars here!!!

“All four in our party had awesome meals; 3/4 were vegan with Tofu. We really enjoyed ourselves and had Vegan Cashew Nuts, Vegan Drunken Noodle, and Vegan Red Curry; and Chicken Pad Sea Ew (not labeled spicy) and plenty was served. All 3 vegan items were labeled as spicy but were more mild than spicy; next time we'll ask for more spice. We plan to go back again!

Vegetarian options: Vegan options abound and noted on the menu. It was easy to choose from so many varieties.

Parking: We had to circle around a while to find a parking space.“

“What a pleasant surprise to find this little place tucked in the Santa Ana/Tustin area on Glassell and Fairhaven in the Big Lots shopping strip. Bangkok Taste is small eatery, would probably seat about 30 people but the flavors are pretty big. We didn't have a large supper because we were on our way to a party where there would be more food. But we couldn't eat at the party because we were so full from a plate each pad see ew pork and chicken, angel wings, massaman curry, rice and mango sticky rice to finish it off. What a feast! Plenty leftover for today's lunch. The only thing we didn't finish was the mango sticky rice. The coconut milk was a bit watery, almost no flavor which was a contrast to the absolutely heavenly coconut massaman curry. We don't live in the area but we visit a few times a month so we'll be back and take our time. Friendly and prompt service, great first experience, clean tables and chairs. Loved it!

Parking: It's a strip mall and they're three doors down from Big Lots so there's plenty of parking if you can't find anything directly in front of the eatery.“

“Great choice if you're leaving Disneyland and want to grab dinner before heading back to LA. This is right on Ball Rd about 4 miles from Disney. It's a quiet low key spot with friendly staff. We ate there. I got the Panang Tofu Curry with a side of rice. It was substantial and pretty tasty with a lot of tofu in it. There was also pieces of pineapple in it. Order rice on the side because it doesn't come with rice. My friend got Cashew Nut Chicken with side of rice. He was very satisfied with it .Total for both of us was like $38 including a soda. They have 1 bathroom in back . Lots of parking out front.“

Dishes come with salad, spring roll, delicious brown rice (mine never tastes as good at home) and sauces. Never mind no alcohol served, it's all about the food. Wheelchair accessibility: They necessarily didn't have wheelchair ramps but they did have a wide door where I guess a wheelchair can go back and forth.“

The space inside makes you feel like you're transported back to Thailand (there was a cab in the front of the menu screen) and limited seating, a couple of tables outside. Overall rating, 4.6 stars for me, I know google doesn't give me the options for the point six. The pad thai was really good, not too mushy, chicken not over done and love that they added the Vietnamese chives ( hẹ) and bean sprouts along with peanuts, gives an extra crunch in every bite. I have always judged a Thai restaurant by their Tom kha kai. The first time I had it here I knew I was in for some good Thai. Music was playing at a good level, allowing conversations to he had without shouting. There is ample parking as it's in a shopping center that provides easy access for those limited in mobility.

We started with their Basil Wings, and let me tell you—these were absolutely delicious. Hands down the best I've ever had! The wings were juicy, tender, and full of flavor—definitely a 10/10 in my book. Unlike many other places where wings are dry, these were perfectly cooked and had a great balance of flavor.

We also tried their Thai Tea and Green Tea, both of which were bomb. Refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect drink pairings for the meal.
