5 Best Chinese Restaurants in Placerville

“My husband and I were craving Chinese food so we headed up to Placerville to try the restaurant on Placerville Dr only to find out it was closed due to damage from a car. So we googled other locations close by and ended up at Grand China. We've lived in EDC for years and never knew that it was even there. Since this is on the back side of the shopping center and can be easily missed. I have to say the food was excellent, it was so tasty and light, not greasy at all like many other restaurants! The owner and wait staff were so nice, the atmosphere was great too. The portions were generous and I was actually so happy that we had leftovers to take home and enjoy again.We'll definitely be back to this hidden treasure behind Mickey D's!! ?“

“We had a birthday dinner at Wonderful Chinese last night. When the reservations were made, I mentioned we were celebrating 3 birthdays. I did this to see if it would be okay to bring in a birthday cake and they said no problem. Much to our surprise when it was time for cake they brought out one, they had bought to add to the celebration. It was very touching and even more fun to hear Happy Birthday sung in Chinese. Thank you to everyone at Wonderful Chinese for a scrumptious dinner and helping us to make some special memories!“

“The last visit was the end of 21. We decided to try again, and am I glad we did! Friendly lady answered the phone, took my to go order. We ordered egg rolls(which were really spring rolls), pot stickers that were stuffed full and very delicious, bbq pork chow mein(noodles were more like chow fun), honey walnut prawns that were absolutely delicious, sweet and sour pork absolutely delicious, and chicken with string beans which was absolutely amazing! I am sure we have enough leftovers for a few more meals!
We will go again, absolutely will be our go to place for amazing homemade chinese food“
