“I like this place. Went up for their blackberry days. Got a few donuts, turnover, and apple chipotle bbq sauce. The turnover wasn’t very sweet, it was just ok. The bbq sauce was too runny to stick to my chicken. And the apple blackberry donuts tasted like a regular apple donut with small seeds in it. The trip wasn’t very successful this time.“

“My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with warm personal service. We had a nice view of the Main street in Placerville from our second floor overlook table. Great food, excellent service and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the strawberry Panna cotta with chocolate mousse for dessert. Great personal service from the owner!! Very friendly. Will be going back soon.!“

“I can't say enough about this place... I'm only sorry I didn't stop sooner! I needed a pick me up and had no idea what I was in the mood for... Mindy wasn't annoyed at all and just asked me what I like and don't like. Then she mixed up some espresso magic and handed it over. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! My girls love all things pink so she mixed them up some special lemonade. It was a big hit! We will definitely be back often!!“

“We live over and hour away and decided to go here for Mother’s Day weekend. On our way driving up there they sent me a text message asking if we could change our reservation time because the people before us were running late. No big deal we could walk around and check out the stores. When we got there, we were seated immediately and the people were super friendly. It took us over an hour and a half to get our food. They brought out the kids food about 30 minutes before ours. This Left the kids with nothing to do while we ate. I had to ask someone else to bring us a refill on the drinks because our waitress didn’t come back for about about 30 minutes (this was while we were still waiting for our food) Our waitress was super friendly and apologized. Food was ok. We were going to do the dessert fondue, but after waiting an hour and a half just to get a crêpe we decided to skip it and go somewhere else for dessert. It was a very long drive and borderline disappointing for the service. The atmosphere was cool. The kids had fun despite sitting there forever. We probably will not be returning. I’m not sure if this was just an off day for them because there’s a lot of other good reviews, but for us it was NOT an enjoyable experience.“
