“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“

“Nice Indonesian ice cream spot. It is small tiny shop next to coffee shop and it serve vegan ice cream. The seating place is at the street level. It doesn't have many choices but it is interesting they shave Indonesua palm broen sugar as garnish. Eventhough it is vegan ice cream, the taste is like regular ice cream. Pricewise it is quite high.“

“I am usually not the type to write a review, but the service that Sebastian provided was top tier. Sebastian allowed us to sample some products and provided some creative suggestions when it came to combination like a peanut butter and jelly like option when it came to gelato. He was extremely patient with me as I made chose a flavor or gelato to take home and even promoted the points system when imputing our phone number before purchasing it. His service alone is 5 stars alone and the products that were sold were extremely delicious as well, I am looking forward to trying more flavors and running into him again for more suggestions he comes across of.“

“I came here to say, I have never heard of this brand before but last night while shopping at my local Jay C (kroger), I stumbled across the Gluten free Gooey Butter cake ice cream and i’m so very glad I did!!! it’s delicious!!!! It’s not often us Gf people get to have cake and I actually don’t care for ice cream. I rarely eat it but that has all changed thanks to Jeni’s. “The cookies and cream ice cream is so good! They also give you a generous portion. The ice cream doesn’t melt easily even when we were eating outside in a hot weather. I have to mention they have a lot of vegan options too! And lastly, the staff is really nice which makes the overall experience really great. 😊“

I had no idea it was vegan until I saw the reviews on here! I recommend pairing the Calamansi with the Matcha—it tastes like a matcha lemonade. Other than that, the ice cream was absolutely amazing.

A long line formed right after we arrived, but we noticed it was moving efficiently while we enjoyed our ice cream.

All outdoor seating, which is covered. Probably the most aesthetically pleasing architecture for an ice cream shop in LA.“

“Honeymee in Gardena is a sweet little spot that’s definitely worth a visit! The serving area is small, but the quality more than makes up for it. The signature honey topped ice cream is absolutely delicious, simple, creamy, and perfectly sweet. I tried the Passion Fruit and Chocolate Dream, and both were amazing in their own way. They also offer lattes and other treats, so there’s something for everyone. A great stop if you’re craving something cool and satisfying!“

“I have lived in Manhattan Beach for over 20 years and yesterday I had maybe the best customer service experience EVER in my life. I was not able to get the young man’s name but I have this picture here that he let me take. This young man was so warm and hospitable towards everyone who walked in the store. He was very patient with me and all my sampling requests which was probably annoying because I came at a busy time, but his positive attitude never wavered. His smile lit up my day and made my ice cream taste even sweeter than it already was! I loved my experience with that young man so much that I might only get ice cream from salt in straw from now on! He also gives the best scoops, filled with a lot of joy… and ice cream as well, so request him if you can. “One of my favourite gelato store in LA, I came back a lot of times and it’s been my 10th time or so back here, I love their rich gelato taste and would definitely recommend you to go visit here, they have a wide range of flavors you can choose, for example you have 14 types of chocolate gelato you can choose, so you can have a bit more fun choosing what you want, really recommend it! The people working there are also very nice and friendly and they provide tables and chairs for you to sit inside or outside.“

Hailing from Santa Barbara, they've expanded to several Southern California locations. Plus, they offer pints for sale if you're looking to bring a taste of their delicious ice cream home.“

“Manhattan Beach. YOU SHOULD GET 3 SCOOPS BUT 2 IS OK. 1 scoop was $6.25 and 2 was $6.75. 3 was $7 something. If you like toppings, the banana split is the way to go for $10.25. There were some seats outside, but this place was more like a take out place. Walk the beach and go to the promenade. The museum wasn't interesting.
