“The food was excellent. We had the lamb curry, saag paneer, & chicken vindaloo. All we very tasty. Well seasoned and prepared well. The naan was also excellent. The outside seating is very pleasant. Service was a bit slow, but it was a busy Saturday night and the staff was working very hard and super friendly. I'll be back!“

“Food was delicious, we ordered “medium” spice and it was a little too mild for our taste so we’ll order spicy next time. Had Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka and Veggie Korma with Butter Naan and Indian Pickles, so we kept it simple. Great flavors and everything was very fresh and hot. Restaurant well lit and very pleasant decor, and service was excellent. Highly recommend.“

“Found this place on Reddit after searching up “best Indian lunch buffet in east bay” and it exceeded expectations! As someone who’s always jealous of the Indian food options in South Bay, I’m so grateful that I now have a go to option in the east bay! Variety of food was perfect, each dish was flavorful, the environment and service was relaxed, and the highlight was the naan (best naan I’ve ever had)! It’s only $20 as well!! I don’t think some of the past negative reviews are relevant anymore and I’ll certainly be back.“

“November 13th, around 4:50 PM aimlessly walking around decovering new places to see and dine in when I stumbled upon ANARKALI ( Pakistani/Halal/Indian ) The lady who took my order made me feel like I was the only one there (even though I was for a while) She made sure I toured the restaurant/store with a light and easy futter. My order took longer than expected by her, but honestly, I watched her put my meal together, and it was not rushed... She repeatedly apologized, but honestly, I loved the dedication to the craft. Another customer came in as well as a delivery order, but she gave all of us special attention. I loved how I felt in the atmosphere as well as wonderful. “Went by late night to grab a pizza, while they were a bit lacking on customer support (Pizza was done & just sitting on top the oven) & ADA Knowledge on Service Animals the pizza was really good.

I would highly encourage the staff to read up on ADA Service Animal rights.“

“Great food, service and ambience in downtown Concord. Decent selection of wines and beers. Went with a friend for a $20 buffet lunch. Good selection of curries includes goat curry and fish in addition to chicken. Plenty of salad options. Very good naan bread. Ample parking. Only downside is they charge a 3% convenience fee for using a credit card which you don't find out until after you pay your bill. Hence 4 stars. But overall, a nice clean and well-appointed place with enough space between tables for a private lunch/meeting. It's quiet enough and the staff is attentive and friendly.“
