“We have lived in Port Hueneme for 7 years now and had never tried this spot because friends and acquaintances told us it wasn't good. But about 2 months ago I decided to give it a try, and boy I shouldn't have listened to those people. This place is a really nice sit down mexican food spot. The chips and salsa are my favorite in the whole area. The food is pretty good as well. Im just glad I tried it because now it's my go to sit down mexican style restaurant. I like the crispy tacos and the chili relleno, my husband likes the enchiladas. They have good drinks as well. The price range for the food is very affordable and you get really good service. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. If you're in the area and want a quiet sit-down meal with friendly staff and good food, this should be your spot.”

“Izakaya Jin is a friendly place to dine with authentic Japanese cuisine. They offer amazingly fresh sushi, sashimi and nigiri. Hot dishes are just as good! The special sets they create for various holidays are out of this world. We lived in Japan for seven years and we are so thankful to have found a place that offers some of the best food in town!”

“5/5 Stars for BEST fried chicken anywhere. Kind and fast service. We dined in although several came in for take-out while we were there. Safe for kids, lots of parking, cold canned or bottled drinks. A fried chicken plate for only $10. Not going anyplace else for fried chicken as this place 100% beats any fried chicken chains! Ps: bring your own pepper! They don't have any.”

“The food comes out super fast. Our waitress, with the pink eye shadow, carried all of our plates on her two arms to ensure we all got our food at the same time. Everything was cooked to perfection. I got the steak tips breakfast. The steak was savory, not my favorite, but it could be someone's. Otherwise, we were all happy with our food. You get a lot of food for your money.”

We discovered Roxbury Deli & Grill while walking around Port Hueneme and are so glad we did! The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in a long time. We enjoyed dinner so much that we came back for breakfast the next morning before leaving town. Highly recommend this true local gem!”

“I love the tortilla chips with the salsa the mariachi was really good for the atmosphere horchata was great and for the food I ordered the filet with a side of fries and a salad. Filet was cooked to perfection and the fries delicious they were crunchy and well seasoned. The waiters were really nice and deserve a raise because they were really nice and asking if we needed anything almost every 5 to 10 minutes love the service here and would recommend this to anyone and the price is very affordable. 10/10”

“First time visiting this restaurant with my partner. The atmosphere is nice. The server was very kind and efficient. Highly recommend their variety of rolls. Don't even need the soy sauce because the rolls are well seasoned. Serving is huge enough to make you full. Almost forgot my hat and very glad my server reminded that I left it in my chair. Will definitely visit next time!”
