Safe for kids, lots of parking, cold canned or bottled drinks. A fried chicken plate for only $10. Not going anyplace else for fried chicken as this place 100% beats any fried chicken chains! Ps: bring your own pepper! They don't have any.“

For our group of 8, we ordered the pulled pork and pulled chicken, along with baked beans, cheesy potatoes, and Southern green beans. Every dish was absolutely amazing! The flavors were on point, and we loved that we had plenty of leftovers for several meals afterward. It made our holiday even more special. Thank you, Smokin' Js, for providing such delicious food! “I recently grabbed a meal from WaBa Grill and honestly it was a really good quick and healthy option compared to a lot of fast food places. The whole experience was simple and convenient, the staff were polite and the order was ready pretty fast even though it was a bit busy. I went with one of their chicken bowls and was surprised by how fresh everything tasted — the chicken was nicely grilled, juicy, and had that slightly smoky flavor, and the rice and veggies actually tasted clean and not heavy or oily. I also liked that you can customize things easily, which makes it feel a bit more personal than your usual grab-and-go spot. The portion was solid too, definitely enough to feel full without feeling sluggish afterward. The sauces added a nice touch and tied everything together well. “Unlike other locations that skimp on the flavorings (LA Hollywood, North Park Plaza), bb.q chicken Oxnard makes sure the secret sauce chicken is fully coated and the cheesling chicken has a ton of cheese powder on it. We alternate between dining in and ordering takeout, and we really appreciate how consistent they are.“

“This is my go to spot for Chinese take out. Their chow mein is probably the best I’ve had here in Oxnard. The noodles are thick, soft and chewy. Their orange chicken is not too sweet, juicy and has a crunch. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some good take “

“We had a large catering order of 50 orders, and everything was ready and organized when we arrived! As I was checking the orders, I thought we may be short one spicy chicken sandwich, and I let the employee know. She got one for me right away, and I found out when setting up for the event that I had miscounted. The food was great, and the portions for the large salads and fruits trays were generously portioned, we had plenty of extra! I ordered for our staff training, I’d never yet eaten Chick-fil-A and ate the grilled chicken sandwich, it was delicious! Thank you, Chick-fil-A!“

“We had a really enjoyable visit! The chicken was outstanding—crispy, steaming hot, and super juicy, not dry at all. My whole family left happy and full, which is always a win.

One suggestion for improvement: the mashed potatoes weren’t quite what we remembered. The flavor seemed a bit different, and the consistency was on the watery side this time. Could just be a one-off, but worth mentioning.

Also, a heads-up about pricing: if you’re looking to save, definitely place your order through the KFC app. Most of the promotions are app-only, so drive-thru orders can end up costing more. We saved money by ordering ahead and just picking it up—quick and easy!

Is it my imagination or has the chicken pieces gotten smaller at Pollo loco. I remember a couple years ago the piece chicken legs and wings looking little bit more plumpier. They seem very scrawny with just a couple of pieces of chicken meat inside. They taste good but the pieces look awfully scrawny.
Also, the customer service sucks at some of the Pollo Loco's. I've been to several in different locations in Ventura county and all the staff seems like they hate their jobs. Most of them need a refresher in good customer service.
Lastly, I ordered my food online so I could just go pick it up and I asked for a couple of extra salsas and and I didn't get what I requested.“

“This is my home Chick Fil A and the experience I had the other day was a reminder as to why it’s my favorite one. The cashier gave all my kids the little cows and her kindness made the rest of my day. I messed up my order and forgot to order one sandwich and she got it out so fast so we could all eat there together. The service here is what keeps me coming back!“
