“This isn’t a sit-down food place from what I can tell. However, the food is SO DELICIOUS, they have my favorite glass noodles, teriyaki chicken, BBQ chicken, crab Rangoon, egg rolls… everything I’ve tried has been really good. They even have horchata that is really good too - and I normally don’t like that drink but it’s pretty awesome from here.

If you want good Chinese food on a budget, this is a good option. It’s my “go-to” Chinese food restaurant inside Oxnard. Best bang for your buck for sure. ❤️ 🥡 🥢 🥠“

I was so excited to find a place that did it like Lee’s Chinese restaurant in Santa Paula did when I was a kid. So happy. “Back when I worked and lived in Camarillo, I would come over to Peking Inn all the time for their lunch special. I’ve vividly remember how friendly they were, and how flavorful the food was. The lunch special prices were reasonable too.

We were visiting a few of our friends that own store in the same shopping center, so decided what the heck let’s pop in and do the lunch special like old times.

Just as remembered, the restaurant had the same 90s decor and friendly folks there to greet you at the door. And based on the clientele already seated, you could tell this is still very much a locals favorite restaurant.

They also take a traditional approach towards what they offer. We went to wash up before eating, then came back to find T, water, and fried wonton strips with dipping sauce.

A few minutes later, our super friendly server came over and asked if we had any questions. We had a late breakfast, so decided just to order a couple of soups. Everything was delicious as remembered and again, stellar service from the staff.

The only thing we were a little surprised to see was the prices on the menu. Most Chinese restaurants that we frequent Ventura County have lunch specials ranging between $12 and $14 per plate. the average lunch special here was about $16 per plate. And like other lunch specials, it comes with soup and such as well. We were just surprised to see dinner prices for lunch specials.

Great service, good food, and nice atmosphere always make up for a successful restaurant. Peking Inn hits all of these and makes it no wonder that they have been in business all these years now.“

The woman server gives low portions, hardly worth stopping by when the woman is there. It's like she doesn't want to sell the food.

The man server gives excellent portions. I've learned to wait until the man is serving.“

“Tasty food. We enjoyed rice sizzling soup, pineapple shrimp and beef and broccoli. All dishes had fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked with exact balance of sweetness and salt. Tried the pineapple shrimp for the first time and loved it. Clean place, great and very attentive service.“

“A few weeks ago some co workers and I had lunch at Spring Garden. There eleven of us. They have a side room with a table that will seat 18. The servers were welcoming and warm and the food was wonderful. We had a great time and will go back again. They had no problem with separate checks and the prices were quite reasonable. “This is my go to spot for Chinese take out. Their chow mein is probably the best I’ve had here in Oxnard. The noodles are thick, soft and chewy. Their orange chicken is not too sweet, juicy and has a crunch. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some good take “

“Going into it I was expecting the lady in the front to be rude and the food to be cold from reading recent reviews. We had no problem with the service and for a Chinese buffet the food was great. We went for lunch and new food was always being put out. Dessert was good. I will be returning when I need a quick Chinese buffet fix.“

“Stairwell leads to an upstairs loft with plenty of dining space. The food was delicious the wings were nice and crispy the sauce they provided was flavorful I definitely enjoyed that. I had the shrimp and beef chow mein. The dish was good I just would have like to seen larger shrimp versus the small cocktail shrimp that came with it. Overall still a hot quality dish that was made fresh and came out piping hot.“

I am greeted with a smile once I step in and have small talk with the team. The manager LETTY is out of this world. She has a great attitude, positive, and upbeat. I dine in and i notice a team member checking up on guest and going above and beyond by offering more condiments, samples, and fortune cookies in which I’ve been to several locations and I was highly impressed by this.
