“I’ve been on the hunt for halal spots in Ventura county and came across pizza twist.
Service was friendly the recommendations were great. We ordered papdi chaat, tikka masala tacos, achari pizza and curry wings. Everything is reasonably priced and they had a great lunch special. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu soon.

FYI: you have to let them know you want halal only because they do serve non zabiha chicken.“

Was so impressed went back the next night to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating.
Got another sausage and cheese but also decided to try the carnitas pizza as well.
Both were absolutely stellar. This is my favorite pizza in Southern California. Totally reminds me of when pizza was consistently amazing back in the day. Love this spot.“

“I went to visit my buddy from out of state. He recommended a couple of places here locally. We decided to try this spot, Miks Pizza. Let me tell you, the pizza was GREAT! “I was first introduced to Bright Spark In March at the Ventura Beer Experience. We talked with a lovely couple behind the table and tasted Day Trip, which has become my all-time favorite. We were introduced to a concept called Musical Bingo that day, and I was delighted to make my first visit to the brewery on my 55th birthday in May. Every single one of the employees there was kind, gracious, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and the Musical Bingo is so much fun! I have since been dragging people left and right there and recommending you guys because of what a great laid back family-friendly atmosphere it is. They try to be inclusive, in the sense of treating their employees well, which is to be highly commended. In my mind, there are no inclusive restaurants in Ojai, since a lot of elderly people and others on lower incomes can't afford to eat out. A restaurant, the Green Table, in Santa Barbara, was truly inclusive. It had a bulletin board where people posted donations of meals to those who couldn't afford to eat at the restaurant. I would believe in inclusiveness if I saw that--otherwise, it's just words, not complete.

“Didn’t want to give a low rating because I saw all the workers working hard and they were busy however while I was waiting in line for 20 minutes for a slice, when I was at the front and excited there was still a BBQ chicken slice left but watched as an employee asked her manager if she could just have it and he shrugged “yeah” and that was just it, I watched the pizza I wanted get taken right in-front of me and I just had to accept it 🤷‍♀️. Maybe there is a way employees can get their pizza not infront of customers like that?“
