“The location on Porter Ranch was not as loud as the one in Santa Clarita. The food was really yummy. So far, my toddler's favorite mac n cheese place. It did get busy, but our server was able to come around more constantly than the one at Santa Clarita. We sat outside even though it was windy and chilly, but the covers and heater made the atmosphere great .“

The prices on most things can be a bit expensive but your paying for organic foods and of great quality. They also have lots of ready made foods and a place to dine in. “I love having breakfast here on the weekends. If you get up early and go by 8:30am it's self seating. After 10am you will most likely have to wait to eat.

Food is always hot and fresh. Have never had an issue with anything I order. I have had their avocado toast, Huevos rancheros, Mary's special among other things. All are delicious and let's not forget the onion rings!!

Parking is available on the street or on the lot right behind the restaurant. Which you do have to feed the meter.

They have a vending machine for scratchers. My family and I always buy some and cash them before we leave. If you're in the area, stop on by for a bite! The service is good and so is the food.“

“We've been going to Hugo's for years. The food and service are consistently good and the staff are always very pleasant and accommodating. Be warned, if you order a salad with added salmon the additional cost is over $20. Neither the option to add salmon nor the price are listed on the menu. When we brought this to the attention of the manager he was very accommodating and gave us a partial credit. He that said we were not the first to complain.“

“This place feels seedy from the outside and dated and unwelcoming when you step in. Don’t let that fool or stop you. Once you’re in and seated you realize most everyone is a regular, and the staff is warm and welcoming. And the food is seriously stellar. I had the Bullet (their original recipe since 1954), my girlfriend the Huevos Rancheros. You can taste the time and care that goes into making everything from scratch. I don’t usually go places more than once but look forward to becoming a regular here and trying more on the menu.“

“2024 Update: The beers and fries were still good, but the burgers were not as good as I remembered. Only service dogs are allowed inside now, but the large patio outside is partially heated. Parking was easy and the location is close to the highway though, so that's also a plus.
