“This review is overdue. First, I've been here twice and the service is just amazing. The ladies that work here are so nice and so is the guy in the back. Excellent customer service. Second, on the back of the Ralph's receipt (the supermarket in the same shopping center), they advertise, buy 1, get 1 free, which is an excellent deal. And, you can use the coupons over and over which is really cool. Third, they allow you to sample all of the flavorful ice creams and are very patient with you while you make your decisions. We normally get two cones with two scoops each and buy one, get one free! It's an amazing deal! We've tried the cookies n creme, salted caramel, butter pecan, strawberry cheesecake, and the chocolate- everything is so yummy and tasty.“

However the day Marissa was covering for that store my cookies were the very best I have experienced. My go-to is Rocky Road with sprinkles. I do wish they had chocolate sprinkles like they do in Pennsylvania, but the red, white, and blue sprinkles are fun and very on-theme right now.

“One of our friends told us about this hidden ice cream spot! This Sunday, we decided to visit and check it out. The Creamery Cart is located inside Alfred Coffee near Balboa and Ventura!

The ice cream here is not a copycat concept — it’s something totally new! They call it artisanal, but I call it delicious! My kids loved it, and my family really enjoyed the atmosphere.

“This spot is seriously one of the hidden gems around. The food is ALWAYS fresh, stacked, and made with care. Look at this sandwich, thick egg, fresh avocado, crisp vegetables, quality bread, everything balanced perfectly. You can tell they don’t cut corners here.

But honestly, the best part is the people. These ladies are some of the kindest workers I’ve met. They actually remember me and my order even if I haven’t been there for weeks, and they always treat me with genuine warmth and respect. That kind of service is rare now. You don’t feel like “just another customer” here.

Despite a full establishment and a steady stream of customers continuing to come in, he remained completely focused on giving every single person an excellent experience. He worked quickly without ever rushing, making sure each order was done right the first time.

Even with a long line, Julian took his time at the register to ensure accuracy, double-checking orders and even asking if we had a punch card to use, something that could easily be overlooked when working solo under pressure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor stood out and made the experience enjoyable for everyone waiting.

I honestly couldn’t help but feel for him being on his own-he definitely could have used some support but he handled it all with efficiency and a positive attitude.

My visit today was at 1 PM and the sweet girl that made my order was named Victoria. She was friendly and professional, greeted me when I walked up to the counter, and answered all the questions I had. Victoria made me a photo worthy Oreo type sundae with hot fudge and marshmallow and jamocha ice cream, all layered in the cup perfectly.
