“it was our first time being here, we ordered in person around 30 minutes before closing, and a lot of people had ordered ahead so we ended up waiting like 30 minutes for the food. It was well worth the wait though!! I got a regular carnitas torta and my boyfriend got the carne asada fajitas burrito and they were so delicious. The meat was so tender and everything tasted amazing altogether. I recommend ordering ahead for pickup; it’s very popular and deservingly so. The woman behind the counter was also so lovely and patient, highly recommend!!“

“This place is great! Situated in a little strip mall, this little Mexican restaurant is worth trying. It's not very big, but make no mistake, it's not a fast food place, it's a sit down restaurant. It has very cool decor, clean and well kept. The food was delicious. Everyone in my party was super happy with their food. I ordered the fajitas... Delicious! Other parts were; carne asada plates - delicious! Came with two pretty good size steaks, chicken mole enchilada - delicious! The taquito plate and the fish plate, also delicious. It should also be noted that their portion size is really good. We all ended up taking some food home. Oh, big shout out to our server (wish I had gotten his name... Sorry) he was very attentive. He took the time to explain what the dishes came with, and what I really really appreciated was that he asked if any of the kids' orders needed to be modified because he knew sometimes kids don't like everything the plate comes with. Location: not to best, but not the worse
Cleanliness: clean inviting atmosphere, on a smaller scale. About 6 tables along with a long counter with chairs. Smelled good inside.
Service: extremely kind, everyone! Cashier, cook and owner went far and beyond with customer service. A ++++++++++ helpful and kind to all walks of life that stepped in, no discrimination which is a plus for us. Asked if it was our first time. Even gave us a sample of their carnitas without me having to ask. I told them the reviews lead me here. But a few people said carnitas were a little to salty. I'm glad he insisted on me trying the sample. It lead me to order $7.00 worth of just carnita meat. It was amazimgggggggg.
Food: asada burrito good and large 9/10. Taco 10/10 fire! Torta asada 10/10 yummy carnita meat 11/10 out of this world. Salsas 7/10. Pico dgallo 10/10, chips 8/10, aqua Fresca 10/10

“Not from the area just wanted albondigas (meatball soup) not a lot of places had it by my hotel so I came here. Honestly wasn't sure at first service was a little slow but they were just opening up, chips and salsa were good fresh and salty, the glass of water had a funky tap water taste but not enough to ruin the meal which was delicious 👍 got a side of rice with it during the lunch special came out to 13$ and I had left over rice to take back. If I'm ever out here again I'm coming back for another bowl“

I asked if this shop was partnered with the Gonzales meat market a few doors away and they confirmed it. No wonder their meats are so fresh and tasty. Love this place.“

“Indoor dining is great. Medrano’s still hasn’t learned how to pack a go order. The soup lids are so flimsy that if you put more than one on top of the other one, the lid breaks and spills soup. Then, if the chips are packed in the soup bag, the bottom of the chip bag gets wet. When you try to get the chips out, the bottom of the bag rips and chips go all over the floor. This isn’t the first time this has happened. This will be the last time. The other place I eat wraps plastic around the whole soup container, so if the lid does break, the soup still stays in the holder.“

The side salad was freshly washed, crisp, head lettuce, romain, & lots of croutons on a larger chilled desert plate topped with a delicious Italian Dressing! Yum! I also ordered a Chili Verde plate. Half had to be taken home. An Abundance of free, thin, fresh taco chips with 3 types of dip. I will be returning to try their other meals esp. the Carne Asada dinner. I absolutely love the food there so delicious and in my opinion probably some of if not the best burritos and tacos I've had in the AV.They're also really friendly too got an order of burritos tonight and I ask for no onions or cilantro got home they had onions and cilantro. “I took my 97 year old grandma here as it's her favorite Mexican restaurant. Good was delicious and you get a very generous serving. I wish they had easier access. There is no ramp and the curb is really high, so it was quite a chore for my grandma to enter.
