“it was our first time being here, we ordered in person around 30 minutes before closing, and a lot of people had ordered ahead so we ended up waiting like 30 minutes for the food. It was well worth the wait though!! I got a regular carnitas torta and my boyfriend got the carne asada fajitas burrito and they were so delicious. The meat was so tender and everything tasted amazing altogether. I recommend ordering ahead for pickup; it’s very popular and deservingly so. The woman behind the counter was also so lovely and patient, highly recommend!!“

Atmosphere, a lot of the garbage from the east side looks like it's slowly started to creep over to quartz hill, really sad, thats what I saw here last time. Dude with his shirt off, prison tats, open container inside the restaurant, c'mon quartz hill! You're better than that! Forggetta bout it! “Took my nephew there after his high school graduation on 6/3 and the manager and staff that night were so wonderful and accommodating!!! They even decorated for the graduates which was very thoughtful. We will definitely be returning in the future.“

The atmosphere is amazing with street tattoo style theme, pin ball machines, bathrooms and beers!

Sometimes you can catch a good truck that will park over here so you can eat. Transplant does offer snacks but not food or anything that needs to be prepared and cooked.

“We love this place and we eat here on Saturdays or Sundays, because I love the menudo soup. Unfortunately, today the pata was very hard and the granos too. I asked the lady before I ordered it and I guess she lied to me. I told them that I didn't like the soup because the pata and granos were too hard, but she didn't offered anything else. She said that it's the same soup as always, but it was not true, because I go for this soup every weekend, but I don't think I will go back again, for almost $20 soup, I don't think so.

The Calzone was big enough to feed two, the Zucchini was not soggy and crisp to perfection. I had the Eggplant Parmesan and it is the best I’ve had in the A.V., but the chef’s kiss was the Crème Brûlée. OMGoodness! I’m so glad there was no fruit atop the hard sugar coat to ruin the crackle. “We booked a party for 40 to celebrate a 90th birthday. The banquet room was nice and separate from the main restaurant. The service was on time and the food was great. We were able to choose which foods we wanted to serve. We booked the room from 5 - 8 pm and got there an hour early to set up and decorate. The clean-up was provided by the banquet staff. There was several tables of 8-10, so guests could sit where they wanted. There was a table provided for the gifts and we brought in our own cake. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a good time.“

The ingredients are quality, and not skimpy. They have good ranch (so important). The prices are great. “When I entered this place with my girl I noticed people staring at my spouse not noticing she was with someone until I spoke up causing me to get angry momentarily. I don't take staring as a compliment. However after a few minutes of being inside I recognized a song that they were playing over the radio as a song of praise which allowed me to reflect and calm myself from pursuing my personal feelings that was caused by the people staring at my girl and turn my anger into an attitude of understanding and gratitude. People are not perfect. The song playing: Revelation Song by Kari Jobe. Perfect timing for this song to be playing because I recognize at that moment that the place I was in was a business that glorified God and maybe the guys who were staring may have just been customers not employees. I had to remove my shoes spiritually because where I was standing was holy ground. And the man who served us was obviously a brother in Christ. And after tasting the warm soft and fresh pastries my attitude turned to gratitude. I will leave this review with that. Good work owners of Pan De Vida Bakery. “The food is good, they actually condiment the meat. The service was good, they explained what the food contained, but they were a bit stingy with the salsa. The atmosphere was ok, it was hot and there was a lot of smoke. They just opened up so I'm assuming they still have to get the a/c situated and a vent for the smoke. I feel bad for the workers. I was ready to get out of there due to the heat.

(Update: they finally got the ac running. The adobada tortas are delicious and the molcan was crazy good. I've never tried anything like it. The only downside is that you leave smelling like smoke.)“
