My husband and I decided to call and order dinner to pick up on our way home. We did, called placed order, and were told, “it will be ready in 20 min”. No request for payment over the phone or sitting on hold, just a pleasant “… see you then”
At pickup, it was just coming out, everyone in the kitchen, looked over and smiled or made eye contact and nodded… reminiscent of the old family restaurant where you get a “hello friend, it’s good to see you!” The food, yes, like the old school family restaurant from yesteryears. The food? A chicken pesto 20” pizza, yes 20”, cooked to perfection, Delicious pie. Also a Calzone, pepperoni, mushroom and onion. A little different in appearance, and Delicious! Do not let the name Sophie’s pita fool you. The pizza is definitely a must try!“
