“I stopped here with my family the night we made it to Ontario, California for vacation, and it was such a fantastic choice! The staff were incredibly friendly, some even made some decent jokes. The inside of the building was quite nice, with very clean bathrooms. And of course, the food was delicious! A large menu with a wide variety of options for vegans and non-vegans alike was available. And the food was all totally healthy. So it was nutritious and delicious! I would recommend this for anybody staying in Ontario or visiting 10/10.“

“GREAT VALUE - This place was fire! Good value when you get the Double Comb and the servers are nice and aware! For under $50 you get free sauce bar, 2 drinks, 2 soup bases, 2 meats, a bean combo, a seafood combo, and a veggie combo! That's a lot of food for a very fair price! Would definitely come back.“

“food is great, good choices in topping buffet, everyone gets their own individual pot. only complaint is that you can only order 3 orders of meat per person at a time and meat portions are very small. i think my group averaged 20+ orders each so we had to order at least 7 times“

“Shabu Wara is hands down, the BEST Japanese shabu shabu option in the Chino Hills area. We've been a couple times now and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high quality shabu experience! The service is amazing as well - the owner Arnold is super nice and the main guy at the counter Dayton is our new best friend. :POn Tuesdays and Sundays, Shabu Wara offers an ALL YOU CAN EAT experience, if you choose to avail. They have a standard a la carte menu too. On our most recent visit, we went for the AYCE. There were 3 options - Basic ($69pp), Deluxe ($89pp), or Premium ($109pp). Take a look at the photos of each of the menus so you can see the differences between the 3 options. The deluxe and premium have the Japanese A5 Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak, which is the appeal for those higher end options. We went with the Deluxe option this time and were not disappointed. Here's a breakdown of what we tried:- Japanese A5 Wagyu Brisket- Japanese A5 Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak- Full Blood MB9+ Australian Wagyu Brisket- Full Blood MB9+ Australian Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak- American Wagyu Karubi- Seafood platter (tiger shrimp, scallops, salmon, mussels)Of these items, of course we loved the Japanese A5 options which just melted in our mouths, but our personal favorite was the Australian Wagyu Brisket! In fact, we'd probably come back just for that one. It's not as fatty as the Japanese A5 options. There's plenty of parking where Shabu Wara is. We heard it gets super busy on weekends so maybe swing by for dinner on a weeknight. We've never had a wait and you can be right up in the bar area! Highly highly recommend!Parking: Plenty of parking lot spaces“

“Love this place! I've been coming here since I was a freshman in high school (I'm now 22)... so it's been around 7/8yrs with them. They never miss when I come here. The popcorn chicken with sweet & sour sauce is always tender and crunchy, the ramen/wonton soup is hot and flavorful, drinks crafted to perfection. My usual rotation of drinks is the Earl Grey MT w/boba, Caramel Milk Icee w/boba & egg pudding, or any of the Lychee products and of course w/boba ;p I'm a regular here every Wednesdays for sure, but with cravings or for a pick me up, it would include the weekends as well lol. The ambience and vibes are always nice and chill (even when it is busy). All of the bobaristas are kind & welcoming. Overall, this will forever be my go to place whenever I'm craving something sweet or savory.“

“As a world renowned hot pot connoisseur and #2 fan of Boiling Point, I've decided to give Pot on Fire a try per high praise from a classmate that grew up in OC where all the good Eats are. However to her dismay, she had ordered her pot "mild" but it came out "dangerous spicy". Upon asking to have it changed because that's a drastic difference, she was told just to move the spice on the side. Anyways enough yapping about that, moving on about the food: -Popcorn chicken ($8.00): Decent portion for the price. Very crispy and good amount of flavoring, little on the saltier side. -Stuffed fish ball ($7.20): Filling was delicious and creamy. Outside is seasoned with a type of dry chili which elevated the dish. -Lamb pot ($21.50): I ordered it "spicy" and the name definitely lived up to the broth. Still very flavorful without the spice overpowering the taste. The lamb comes bone in and many pieces were pretty fatty. Decent balance of napa cabbage, vermicelli, tofu, and other things. I wish there was more enoki mushrooms but we in an enoki mushroom shortage right now so I understand. The sauces were okay, there is sesame, garlic soy sauce, and I think it was Huy fong chili garlic sauce which I do enjoy. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. If I were to compare to Boiling Point and Tasty Pot, Boiling Point still reigns supreme with Pot on Fire slightly being above Tasty Pot.“
