“This restaurant is completely outside and you can watch the sunset if you time it right. The heat lamps keep everyone comfortable and the service is fast and friendly. Our OpenTable reservation worked perfectly. I think it's a neighborhood gem.“
“Angela is an amazing host. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place is warm and full of life and the food is amazing. Probably the best Thai you can find anywhere within 50 miles! The homemade cilantro hot sauce should be bottled and sold. I would drink that by itself.Parking: Big lot nearby.“
“The food here was so flavorful, with a good amount of spice! ? The drunken noodles, or Pad Kee Mao, were the best. We also enjoyed their Massaman curry and Tom Kha soup. The service was great, and the staff were very welcoming. We'll definitely be returning soon!“
“Best thai place I had in awhile. Great value. I had the beef satay and my wife had the chicken satay. Beef satay is bomb. I recommend the cucumber salad over the papaya salad. It had a subway veggies type of taste. My wife is picky and ended up loving it. Be here soon again. 17 bucks average meal.“
“This is a good place to come it. There is a big parking lot to park your car. There was a lot of room to sit and eat. The food was good. The orange chicken seemed a bit hard. The outer part of the orange chicken felt crunchy. I like my orange chicken when it is soft. It was ok. The salad and rice were great. The egg roll was good, too. The Thai tea was ok, too. $17.63 for this meal was good. I appreciate the service. Thank you so much. ?.“
“I had lunch at this restaurant with my friend when we were visiting LA, and I'm so glad we stumbled across it! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was so friendly. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to, and definitely somewhere I'll be visiting again the next time I'm in town!“
“The pad Thai was good, although the noodles were a bit thinner than expected. The crab fried rice was also filling and delicious. However the start of the show was the mango sticky rice and the Thai iced tea!! Service was also so nice and attentive!“
“New Thai food in town. Everything so yummy. I really like my crab rolls and noodle soups. Just recommended if you not like spicy that much get mild is better cause of medium here is pretty spicy. Nice ambience, simple and clean. Good and fast service my food came out fast. I'll be back here again when I'm in town. :)“
“[Review #808] 2024-007 Food Order: PAD SEE EWE (stir fried flat rice noodles, steamed tofu, eggs, Chinese broccoli) LUNCH SPECIAL with RICE, GREEN SALAD & CRISPY WONTON, MANGO STICKY RICE I was craving Thai food, but my former go-to no longer serves with consistency. Warin Thai popped up on my search; it's a bit farther in Harbor City but I'm down for good food. It was my office's weekly lunch treat & needed to run an errand nearby, so it was perfect! Located across from Kaiser, off the corner of PCH & Normandie Ave., the restaurant sits on the far right corner of the Harbor Plaza 1. Parking is free, with limited spaces, & they are tight. I called in my order, & actually called a couple of times because I couldn't get through & wasn't sure if they were open. When I finally got through, a pleasant voice greeted me, took my order & repeated it before ending the call. Upon entry, I was greeted, my cc charged, & was out the door in a couple of mins. after snapping a few pics of the menu & dining room. The decor is plain, the tables were spaciously set apart (social distancing?), room was clean & organized during lunch rush. The round trip to/from my office was nearly 40-mins., & my lunch was surprisingly warm! The noodles were cooked to a perfect al dente, & sauced just enough to coat & nicely caramelized. I ordered tofu as the protein accompaniment, taking on the soy sauce flavors. The Chinese broccoli was also cooked just right; I just wished there was more of it. The lunch special also includes jasmine rice, green salad & crispy wonton. Nothing unusual about the salad, just your typical greens. It's a decent lunch portion, though I can't imagine what the regular looks like. I finished off with a serving of the classic mango sticky rice. It was absolutely delicious... & most satisfying!! Though the menu is compact, it contains the standards & then some. Decent portions, but you definitely get the bang for your buck here! Excellent & friendly service, though I had an issue getting through on the phone even past lunch rush (after 1:00 PM). I'm definitely game for more good eats here... a South Bay hidden gem that's waiting for you to discover! Recommended: Pad See Ewe Lunch Special, Mango Sticky Rice.“
“This place reminds me of chiang mai! The flavors are great and the people who work there are as sweet and friendly as the people of chiang mai. Maybe the flavors have been slightly changed to accommodate American tastes but for the most part everything is really tasty here. So glad there's a few thai places worth going to in South bay and not have to drive all the way to Hollywood. As a shout out the three bowl thai spots in gardena (bowl thai, sweet rice and bowl thai grill) are my other favorite thai spots. But this one is very close if you live in the south bay. Definitely worth a visit. Crab fried rice is very tasty and the chicken khao soi is very good.“
“Excellent service! Beautiful ambience . Wide selection of Thai or Japanese food . I was given to try a fried salmon sushi in a light sweet sauce as a appetizer . I ordered a eel hand roll though it came unrolled it had more pieces of the cooked eel then I usually get in a cone shaped hand roll . Ordered a cooked Yellowtail Collar with a squeeze of lemon it was fine . The plum wine was delicious and reasonable . Going back today to try the Thai food .“
“Totally love Three Spice! I had my usual Drunken Noodle (mild) with chicken. It was fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the yellow curry with chicken, served with steamed rice. We both enjoyed our food so much, that we didn't take pics. When the thought hit me I was rubbing my belly. If you haven't tried Three Spice, please do!“
“Boom. Dropping in hete right after work and 10 minutes before close. The waitress was super kind, I always have this issue deciding what I eat so I just gave her my favourite food ingredients, some beef and pork here, some noodles there, spicy of course - bang, she suggests drunken noodles. What an excellent service. Ambiente is nice, calm and relaxing to eat, food tastes damn hot ;)Will come again!“
“Absolutely one of our new favorite and best restaurants in the Southbay! The owner, Willie, and his wife, are unbelievably the most kind hearted, genuine, caring people we have come across yet, Not only was the food, absolutely spectacular and some of the freshest quality Thai food We have ever had. but the service and ambience was top-tier and we cannot wait to return back with our mother-in-law and other family members to introduce them to our new favorite restaurant in Redondo Beach! You will leave feeling so full delighted and excited with the best memories! Thank you Willie!!“
“What do you order when you're being lazy at home and don't want to cook but still need to eat something heartwarming? Khun 9 Thai should be on your list of places to hit up to get that fixing right away.My friend and I ordered two dinner specials and were happy with what we got. I ordered their Tofu Penang Curry which came with white rice, side salad, and a fried wonton. I wasn't able to have the wonton but the curry itself was good (although it's hard to mess up coconut milk & curry paste). It definitely had a kick to it and I did ask for spicy, so I was happy it turned out that way.You don't normally find good dinner boxed sets at most restaurants anymore so it's a nice change of pace to see one being offered, especially at a Thai restaurant of all places. Thanks Khun 9 for the fast, simple, and tasty meal.“
“Been knowing Sriracha Thai for a couple months already and today I always have to give them a 5 star without any regrets?? never get disappointed with their food. Freshness, Clean and flavorful and a good choice of spice levels. Environment is always clean and calm. Everybody there working so hard serving with a warm welcome sometimes they were just really busy with a lot of order. I can tell people in and out to pick up the food plus dine in and they never forget their smile and checking up to see everything is find that’s great. So for those who want a delicious food fresh made in every plate be patient guys and I promise you won’t disappointed. Thank you Sriracha for all your best.????“
“Very good value! I went during the week & had their lunch plate special which includes an egg roll & side salad. I thought it might be less food- wrong....Couldn't even finish my plate & I was really hungry too. I ate the greeny curry lunch plate special & was really happy with my order. Looking forward to trying their other menu items.“
“First time here dining in and it was tasty. I had the beef pad see ew and chicken satay with the Thai ice tea. They also have lunch specials when dining in. Establishment is clean and staff is friendly and helpful.Parking: Parking can be full at times but when I was there during lunch time. It wasn’t bad getting parking.“
“Food was awesome. Had the Pad Thai (single portion) and the Spicy Curry ( single portion)It is not a dine restaurant, you need to call or mobile order your food. I called before hand no answer, went to the location and ringed the doorbell and I was able to placed a order. Quick service once you get their attention.“
“Bamboo Thai Bistro is a terrific neighborhood Thai restaurant in North Redondo. Parking is easy as they have their own lot and there is street parking. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Just tell them make the sauce vegan, and it’s perfect everytime. My favorite is their spicy basil eggplant with extra eggplant instead of protein! And their Fresh Rolls are VERY good.“
“My boyfriend and I got four dishes to go. Yellow curry with chicken, beef spicy basil, duck, and vegetable cashew nut. Everything was delicious and tasted of great quality. They gave good potion sizes as well. The duck was some of the best duck I've had at a restaurant. The only critic would be that everything was a bit too salty which made it hard to finish everything. Aside from that, it was a delicious dinner!“
“I visited this restaurant for lunch over the weekend. It was quite busy, with many takeout orders being placed. I ordered the Spicy Basil Beef and Green Curry. Both dishes allowed the option to choose the level of spiciness, and I found that mild spicy was just right for me; the regular spicy was quite hot. Each dish was around $10, making it very affordable. The food was delicious, and I'm definitely planning to return.“
“Absolutely delicious food!! Like being in Thailand again. A bit on the pricey side but pretty standard for los Angeles. About $17 a meal. Pad Thai is always my barometer for the quality of the place and this pad Thai and the curry did not disappoint. Lots of options on the table to add more spice. I especially loved the mini jalapenos! I got a bit of push back packaging my left overs, of which I had plenty. Not sure why it was strange that I wanted 2 containers, 1 for each dish, rather than want to cram them both into the same one and mix all the flavors. In the end, they conceded and I was able to enjoy the dishes the next 2 days!! Highly recommend!!! Fyi, Google maps says the entrance is on Western but you have to go around into the shopping center to find the entrance and the ample parking.“
“I have been ordering through Uber Eats! Their soups are very filling and delicious! You get large portions. Enough to last for a couple of days! And everything is very fresh! I didn't rate atmosphere because I've only had it delivered!Vegetarian options: Any of there dishes vegetables instead of meat is an option“
“4-star review only because I believe there’s always room for improvement. I couldn’t be happier with this fantastic little gem right on PCH. I heard a lot of great things about this place and it didn’t disappoint. I got the Pad Thai (amazing) with shrimp, Pad See Ew ? with Chicken and a Thai Iced Tea. ?very happy, next time you’re passing down PCH stop on in, they won’t disappoint :)Parking: Easy.“
“I've been coming here for years!! I Love this Thai restaurant is the best I ever had. I always try new locations in the South Bay Area, and nothing beats this place. The waitress is super friendly and very welcoming. Chef Nick always get down in the kitchen my favorite is the spicy sea food soup he never fails. I highly recommend!!!!“
“Tara Thai Restaurant in Redondo Beach, California is a gem! The owner, a delightful lady, offers impeccable customer service. If you find yourself on this side of town, it's a must-visit for some truly authentic Thai food. Their menu boasts a wide variety of dishes, from classic Pad Thai to flavorful curries and stir-fries. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal or a special night out. Don't miss out on this fantastic dining experience!“
“This is a cute mom and pop place. They have great lunch specials (11-3). Salad (or soup), fried wonton with a tasty sweet and sour sauce (the balance is great), and an entree + rice. Today, I had Red Curry with chicken. It was spicy and yummy. There was a good amount of chicken, bamboo shoots, and peas. Service is always friendly and prompt. The non lunch menu is reasonably priced. We've been there for dinner a few times too. I've had Pad Kee Mao and Massamun Curry before. Always tasty. The decor is simple but cute. They have nice and quiet music playing. It's in a strip mall so parking is great. The restroom is a little small but clean. They have a QR code for their menu but also have regular menus.“
“It has been several years since I last ate here, though I really enjoyed it. Not quite as good as my favorite Thai restaurant, Thai Dishes on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, yet more than merely passable.Parking: The shopping center it is located in is not particularly busy, so parking is adequate.“
“This restaurant exceed my expectation. It's quite small but big on quality of food and service. Food are well prepared, tasty, delicious and generous portion. Location and lay out of the restaurant both very nice. They also have a patio area if you like to eat outside. It's my new fave Thai place now.“
“We ordered take out while in town for a quick vacation and were very happy we did. The service was kind and friendly and most importantly, they were happy to accommodate our vegan request modifications. We appreciated that the tofu in the dishes was fresh - not fried - and that they could make the summer rolls with tofu instead of shrimp. Fresh vegetables in the dishes as well was notable. It was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and everything was fresh and made to order. Would return.Vegetarian options: They were happy to make vegan accommodations-tofu was very fresh as were veggies!“
“We ordered out and usually take out is never as good as dine in but can I say that it was just as good. We ordered 10 dishes for 12 adults and we wipe it all clean. So delicious and they don’t have the ordinary Thai dishes! I love that they have duck on the menu. We keep coming up here, great spot.“
“I wish I had taken more photos of all of our food as it was all delicious. Definitely the two stars of the night were the Tamarind Duck and the Lemon fish. The duck was so tender and crispy, and for me personally anything tamarind is delicious. My friend who ordered the fish said it was delicious, but take a look at this presentation!“
“I had an outstanding dinner in this restaurant. Authentic Thai food , great portions and friendly staff . I truly enjoyed my evening . The ice-cream was homemade. This is spicy chicken eggplant. Banana ice creamVegetarian options: I ordered tofu and veggie curry to go as well . So I made two meals .“
“Enjoyed our meal. 1 small bad was my not spicy soup had SOMETHING SUPER spicy in it. That took a while to recover from. Also be aware the receipt has a line for tip but the automatically include the tip in your total. They failed to tell us this which is not so cool. Still, I'd go back to try more things. The Cajun fries were amazing.“
“I got the Pad See Ew lunch, medium spicy, which was very good. It came with fried rice (add some soy sauce if it's too mild) and a salad. I was craving something spicy and it hit the spot. You can also get it mild or not spicy. The price has gone up to $11.99 for lunch, but it was a pretty big portion, I couldn't finish it.“
“This place is small but the food is delicious ? and served fresh the waitress witch is also the cashier had great customer service I truly recommend to all who love Thai food....Parking: It's hard to find parking cuz the streets be full of already parked cars..Kid-friendliness: Place good for the little ones..“
“The food was very good. I had a chicken based dinner and it seemed to have a half of an entire chicken in the dish. Great portion. The curry sauce was really tasty. I asked for low spice and unlike many Thai restaurants I've been too, it was not too hot for me. So most people could probably handle normal spice levels here. The service was great and super friendly. The Thai beer was a bonus.“
“Their pad see ew, and tom yum soup were quite testy! The cook even came out to ask my husband how spicy he would like his soup. The fried bananas with green tea ice cream was fabulous! The service was also great! The waitress was very friendly and attentive.“
“This place always has great food. It's hard to go wrong with any choice on the menu. Love the Kai Kua, but don't forget the sauces! Chili Lime and Cucumber. Both are great. $2 extra, but so worth it!Parking: Somewhat limited parking. Hard to park when busy.“
“This is one of my go to spots for Thai food. Their pad see ew is my favorite and pad thai is also really good! Lots of flavor here. The curry is a bit runny but still solid. The inside is small with a few tables but I would say this is more of a takeout place or to eat with a friend or two. The inside is decorated cool giving a street vibe. Service is good.“
“Finally got around to trying this place, and it's *definitely* going on the list for repeat take-out! Mostly they have variations on chicken and rice plates, so you may want to plan on eating all vegetables the next day to make up for the carbs and meat, but the chicken, rice, and sauces are all *really* good.“
“We were invited by close family friends for dinner, it was a delightful experience, staff were friendly and inviting, restaurant is not massive so tables are close but not overbearing, we dined upstairs that had only one toilet. The food was good and enjoyable, decent Chinese chicken dishes and noodles, didn't get a chance to try any other varieties this time.Read less“
“Great local place. The interior is cozy and have some beautiful decor including small water features. The food was prepared timely and still tasted great; it wasn't the best thai food I had as the flavors weren't as potent and there was no spice level I chose from to help amplify. Pricing was fair for the portions and quality. We had great service after they accommodated us from originally getting take out to instead being seated. Overall, good place.“
