We celebrated my birthday there, and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had dining out as a family. We have a loved one with a severe, life-threatening dairy allergy one that has previously resulted in medically induced comas so eating out is something we almost never do. But from the moment we arrived, the staff and managers went above and beyond to ensure his safety and comfort. They took every precaution imaginable using fresh gloves, preventing any cross-contamination, bringing his meal out first, and even having the manager personally come to our table to talk through his allergy and confirm every step taken. The care, professionalism, and compassion they showed meant the world to us.”

“Steak was great and the drinks were just as good. Jake, our server, was funny, attentive, and gave awesome recommendations, including great drinks.
One nice thing: if you want to split a meal, you can pay a bit extra to get your own soup or salad, your own proper portion of the side, and in our case, the steak cut in half. It kind of ends up being a lot of food, so perfect if you’re a little hungry but still want to share.

On the pricier side, but it makes a great dinner spot if you’re looking for something a bit upscale.”

“So never been here, and again the kid picked this place out. I had the chicken sandwich with their slaw and it was amazing! The kid had a chicken bowl and he really liked it. It was pretty fast and although the parking lot seemed almost deserted, there was plenty of free parking, even for several buses! Lee was very sweet and nice and her co-worker was also super helpful, but I forgot her name. I found out their menu comes from Hawaii, and 2 Asian styles of food. For the price it was quite excellent. A little on the plain side for atmosphere, but if you sat in some of the alcoves they designed into the lay out, (see photos) it would probably feel more cozy. I would definitely come here again. I did talk to a customer who says she comes quite often because the one in Palo Cedro closed and she goes here when she can!”

“I've been coming to Thai hut since 2019. They remember my name and my order. This place is amazing, I am vegan and they have at least a dozen or more options for me, with little to no modifications needed. They're always so friendly and professional. They are family run and their hours of operation are normal business hours, they started staying open until 7 recently which is amazing because I'm usually not getting off work until 6 so it's perfect for dinner time on those days when I'm too exhausted and hungry to cook. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves Thai food ❤️ they're the BEST”

The only negative I have is that the black tea was a bit weak for my taste, but the sandwich made me forget all about that. I'm recommending this spot to all of my friends.”

However, today I tried an enchilada lot of late.And I must say as simple as an enchilada plate can be every piece of it was delicious! Most Mexican restaurants don't really bother to put much time and effort in their rice and beans.And they were both were fabulous. Lastly , I want to mention how friendly the staff was , and it was impeccably clean! I'll be back very soon.”

“We absolutely love this little restaurant. The service is some of the friendliest around, and it's honestly the main reason we keep coming back. Every visit feels welcoming and relaxed and the staff always goes out of their way to make you feel taken care of.

The portions are generous and the coffee is great and the food is consistently wonderful. It's the kind of place where you leave happy and full every time.

The location itself isn't the best, but there's plenty of parking which makes it easy to stop in. They also have some outdoor seating which is really nice on a beautiful day.”

“I had the pleasure of dining at Karline's Restaurant & Bar on Saturday evening, and it was an unforgettable experience! It was our first time visiting, and we were warmly greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. Our server was exceptional - attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. He truly made our dining experience stand out. The food was, without a doubt, the highlight of our evening. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer, and oh, the sauce was sublime! For our main courses, we opted for the Pesto Salmon in garlic herb linguine and the Pan Seared Bistro Filet. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. To cap off the meal, I indulged in the crème brûlée for dessert, Amazing!. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, service, and ambiance at Karline's. We will most certainly be back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!”

I was extremely cleaver and witty talking about the the bread and the pizza and the pies and the desserts and how amazing it all is and how I would recommend it to everyone... and then I clicked off the the page and lost it all.🥲So this is what you get now. I would highly recommend almost everything at When Pie Meets Bread. I would also recommend stopping by early enough to pick something up when going to a dinner party. I, myself, can never think of anything to take to those things and picking up a veggie tray at WinCo just doesn't ever seem enough. But who wouldn't like fresh baked bread or pie or cookies or desserts? Honestly, if you haven't gone there yet I would check it out. I have not been disappointed with anything I have had there.😃”

“so I just want to give a big shout out to the dutch on South Market. last year I had just left the hospital where my Father was with covid pneumonia, I had also lost my Grandfather two days prior, trying to hold down my job, and I was taking care of my Mother who was sick at home. It was late so I stopped to get a hot chocolate and when I got to the window the young man asked me how my day was going and I lost it. I started crying and telling him everything that was going on and also apologizing for crying, the employees were incredible. Then when I went to pay for my hot chocolate the young man said he had paid for it and to come by anytime to talk if I needed it. you have no idea how much that meant to me. THANK YOU THANK YOU.”

“We had THE most amazing experience at Mosaic on Thanksgiving Day. I began in the food service industry when I was 13 yrs old and have worked in a range of restaurants (but most were in the higher end style). Every part of our experience was exemplary. Service was on point, attentive but unobtrusive. Food was equally impressive with presentation and flavor components. My Mom is not an easy guest, but she was satisfied with options and adaptability. Thanksgiving (as well as any "special holiday" is always a challenge in the industry.... Our experience was absolutely exemplary. I can not recommend Mosaic enough, it is now our "Go To" between Sac/Davis and the Rogue Valley.”

The new manager, I believe his name tag said Gary was very personable, he was greeting folks as they came in and left. The food was hot, fresh and back to the normal portion sizes they used to have. We had stopped going due to poor management and just complete lack of customer care with the old manager. We will definitely be back! New management and team are wonderful 👏 😀.”

So, when we needed to schedule a party for our friend who was going to celebrate her 100th birthday, we chose Huffs....not knowing what to expect. We'll, we were totally blown away by the magnificent buffet presentation they created!!! And, the food? We had over 60 people there and had compliment after compliment on the food!! Delicious!!! Personally they handled EVERYONE like we were All precious cargo. Amazing!!! Would we do it agai? YES! Would we recommend Huff's ....YOU BET!! FANTABULOUS AND DELICIOUS!”

The chicken and the honey biscuit were really good and flavorful, but the mashed potatoes with gravy were awful, basically potato soup and super runny. I took one bite and threw them away. I definitely don’t recommend that side at all. On the other hand, even the wedges my friend ordered were really good.”

“Popped in around 4:30 pm on 2/28/26 and was greeted by two very friendly guys. They helped me figure out what I wanted, chatted with us about our day (we were in the middle of a long drive from San Diego to Portland) and hooked us up with two delicious sandwiches. Great experience!”

I didnt like that i couldnt get my own soda and tht they no longer have refills i also didnt like that they mixed the cream and sugar to my coffee for me instead of giving that to me to add myself they did it! I donlike that i can pay with food stamps if i need to!”
