It might be cheaper elsewhere but then the food elsewhere will taste cheaper too. Overall, this place goes out of their way to make you want to come back again and again.“

“I love myself a good taco and a good torta, unfortunately Redding /Anderson falls way short of good tortas, but this place kills it. My bread is never soggy the right crisp on my carnitas, fresh ingredients and a good selection of beers to have with dinner (not like 30 it's a restaurant not a brewery the 5 or 6 bottles too choose from of will get you there) it's become my favorite stop for in house Mexican food. “My husband and I stopped here with our baby on Valentine’s Day to celebrate being new parents. She had different plans for us and ended up being too fussy to be inside. When we requested our food to go, the staff gave us a discount on our order and free dessert to boot! He got the birria ramen and I went with a pork belly bowl. Both were amazing, and so was the chocolate mousse! Will definitely be back next time we are passing through Redding :)“

“"Atmosphere?" In a place that shares the room with a gas station/convenience store? No. It's exactly what you'd expect. But I don't eat 'atmosphere,' do you? Ask about their menu (surprisingly varied, including deserts) or especially their chow, which is first rate. There is a 'specials' menu, many items combined with the Coke brand drink of your choice (not Pepsi). Is it authentic? They have lingua, okay? It's counter service. Eat here (or take out) seven days a week and never repeat your menu (unless you fall in love with the crispy taco plate).

“Lovely family owned taco shop with amazing food, sometimes there wait can be longer than others because they run out of your favorite meat options. But that only means it's hot and fresh the people eat it up! The ladies in front are always nice and the cooks are amazing at their job. The lobby is always clean when we come in and the salsa bar they have in there eating area is always neat and at least looks swapped out often, I never see any signs of laziness when it comes to sanitation.“

Wow such great service, a small family owned market with a variety of Mexican goodies. We had a fruit cup and a Piña Loca. The Piña loca was load with a variety of fruits and Mexican candy. It was so so good. We highly recommend this spot!“

We’re vegan and asked the front staff about their food; they use vegetable oil instead of lard! Yay! I was very excited to try it and wow! Very traditional Mexican food with all the flavours! Even the side bar of homemade salsas and pickles was bringing it all back for me. I loved that they make vegetarian (and gluten free) bowls! I asked to take out the sour cream, cheese, sub the meat for potato’s and fries and add fajitas veggies. My partner had the same but in a burrito. Delicioso!! Mucho Gracias !!
