I was lucky to pick up freshly baked Russian Rye bread still hot with crispy crust! Honestly, I was positively shocked! Usually Russian stores in LA are horrible, but this one is absolutely opposite. “I stopped in here for the first time today and am very happy I did! I am from New York where we always stopped at Katz. I would say they are a tad bit over priced, but we are in Cali, not much to expect lol. They made it up by how well my bagel was made and how much my partner enjoyed their Ruben. I do think the Super Ruben had a great amount of meat on it and was prepared very well ! I think this was a well worth stop, and if we were ever in a sandwich mood again, I would order here !

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fat Sal's, and it was an unforgettable experience! I ordered the "Fat Jerry" sandwich, which is a glorious masterpiece packed with ribeye steak, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, a fried egg, crisp bacon, grilled onions, melted American cheese, and fries. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, and it truly lived up to the hype.

“Kinda went around the whole building because of google but its door is located in the pick nick area. First time coming here from an appointment next door was looking for something to eat but owner are so nice told me there special and tried the shrimp and chicken spicy soup would take a picture but I ate it all.“

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

I had the Honeybaked Feast with generous slices of sweet Honeybaked ham with pineapple and hickory honey mustard, a Hawaiian King bread roll and a choice of one side. The best!
