“Overall, it's a good valiant effort to imitate a British Chippy, for Americans it might be ok, but for British folks looking for the real thing, might be a let-down. Still, it's worth a bite.“

“Was strolling through the Sausalito neighborhood and decided to stop here for a quick lunch. The location is fantastic, overlooking the bay!
Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends. There are a few public lots nearby, but they can fill up quickly. I went on a weekday so I got street parking in a walkable distance.
As for the food, I ordered fish and chips and a beer. The portions are generous, making it great value for the price.“

“They use a touch-screen order system, you don't have to wait for help. The foods was great and the portions were just right. The wait may be longer than some might like but that just means you haven't had to cook much, it takes time. You could probably eat there but it would be kind of tight. I didn't talk to the staff a lot but they seemed friendly enough.“

“We just ordered a couple snacks and wine for a little kid outing but I really appreciated the service and the food we ordered was great (also didn't make us feel bad at all for just ordering some snacks)! The view from the large windows of the water was perfect for watching all the activity below, I loved the big yellow booths, coloring page, and comfy seating....it was a great experience and again, from start to finish they were EXCELLENT with being friendly and helpful! They even brought us some extra fries because they said "it took a little long"--- which was absolutely no wait to us (only 5 min or so) but I just was really impressed with their thoughtfulness and attentiveness. I would definitely come again! Thanks to the staff in on a Friday afternoon in August! Awesome!“

“Chowder’s clam chowder is seafood heaven packed in a Boudin bread bowl! Creamy, flavorful, and loaded with clams the ultimate comfort food. It gave me the perfect warmth on those unexpectedly cold San Francisco summer days. Loved the cozy, laid-back vibe. A must-try at Fisherman’s Wharf!“

“We stopped in got some Fish & Chips (cat fish) and Onion rings and soda.As a very picky Aussie who loves good Fish & Chips most stores here in the US I’d score at a 6/10 but this little hole in the wall shop it’s easy an 8/10 the chips where good size the fish was average size for all the US stores I’ve tried but this little store the batter was crispy and the fish cooked perfectly the onion rings where good the Chips where very good but I feel a few extra minutes in the oil would have made them a perfect Crispy outer and hot and fluffy“

“The absolute best! Food is always cooked to order and fresh! Fried but not greasy. Huge portions, definitely enough to share. If that wasn’t enough, it’s owned and run by the sweetest family. Always welcomed just like you’re family. Have been coming here for many years and will continue for many more. Miss Mimi“
