“Best place in ridgecrest hands down! The atmosphere when you walk through the door was one of a very chill happy place. Good music but not loud, lighting was great not super bright but not so dim you need your phone to see the menu! Then the food!! Great portion sizes, and the flavor, let’s talk about the flavor!! Not many places here use spices much. This place knows how to make food with flavor!! The jerk chicken plate with juicy pieces of well cooked (not over cooked) chicken, spiced to perfection! And the jasmine rice was made so perfectly. Fluffy, delicious rice. The jerk chicken tacos were so good and just enough creama to keep the spice level from being too much, for those that aren’t comfortable with too much heat. Even the burger was fresh ground beef and soft, not stale, bun. If you haven’t been here you have to give it a try. The owners are so sweet and personable. You’ll love it here the pictures were after we ate and were full I thought to take a photo!!”

“went there on opening weekend. the flavors were good. I was happy that they kept most of the nut toppings together, and more or less separate from everything else. the lines were long but they went fast. the customer service was great as well!! The bowls were big enough to share with someone on a little ice cream date. 10/10 would recommend!”

“I’m a big fan of Desert Brew! Their coffee is my favorite, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. The owners are usually around too, which is great if you ever have questions. I even grab their beans to make at home. It’s a cute, cozy spot with a little outdoor seating area—perfect for hanging out.”

“Our go to for Mexican food even above sit in dining restaurants the carne asada fries and nachos and the chile relleno plate are amazing and the price is budget friendly the staff is always accommodating friendly and welcoming keeps us going back we eat here frequently would recommend a try if ya haven't already you won't be disappointed you can dine in or drive thru or call in And pick up like we do only thing keeping me from giving it more stars is it only allows 5 but I'd say 10 the only recommendation I would have would be add pico de Gallo to the menu I really am not a fan of their PKG hot sauce (thru offer red or green)

Parking: Small parking lot under 50 spaces but seems adequate hassle free

Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu and the portions are great for price simple too”

“Food is always great but on two occasions I have placed order and when I arrive to pick up they have no idea what im talking about. Blame it on a printer , then quickly get it put together last minute.”

“Great food. It's not a fancy place but clean, well established, local favorite. I had the pozole soup which wasn't on the menu. By far, the most loaded up pozole soup with a side of diced onions, cilantro, 2 slices of fresh avocado, a side of pork grinds (that's a new pozole side for me), lemon. The pork was not fatty but 100% tender and lots of it. You have a choice of red or white broth if which I got the red sauce. Fantastic!

“Taco Bell is pretty much the same as in flavor. The young lady at the drive thru this evening at around 11:30 pm was very nice & pleasant. She had a wonderful smile & was very helpful & nice. Late night only the drive thru is open. So no dine in or take out. Store looks good. Nice, clean and neat. Good food for the most part too. More so at 2 am when the bars close.”

“China Lake is the site of the weird and wonderful and strange weapons tests and developments. It is not known for its food. This golf course Cafe is an exception to the rule. The food is as good as any as you'd find on a top tier golf course, and for the engineer needing a break from his analysis it's a culinary oasis.”

“Some of these reviews are pretty misleading. Have been here multiple times since opening and never once had an issue except one time - they gave me the wrong burger and was quick to apologize and make it right. Even offered a refund and I turned it down. We all make mistakes!! Great service, warm food.”

The person at the register definitely gave me the vibe that she was not happy she was there.

I was told it would be about 10 more min.

And around that time the guy in the back came out with my pizza. He was upbeat and apologetic for the wait.

The pizza was solid. NO skimping on toppings. And I was happy to get a pipping hot pizza (not always the case with take out)

As for price … it is a little on the high end. I always am shocked these days. Not crazy more than what you would pay at a pizza place of the same caliber (better than Pizza Hut, not as good as Mozza).

I do not live in the area so this is not a place I would regularly go to. But I would stop here for pizza if I find myself in the area again.”

May I suggest to consider slightly adjusting the cooking time on the fries ... perhaps cut the cook time back about 5 or 10 seconds ... very good fries for sure, but this small, slight adjustment might make for an even better experience .. .. .. Meanwhile looking forward to visiting again ;)”
