“Not sure how anyone could not 5 stars. This is our got to place in the desert. Very friendly and knowledgeable and their products. They have a great outdoor area and are pet friendly people. This place is worth driving out of your way for.”
“I love this place, We go there whenever we're in the area, great ambiance. The food is great, the decor and brewery are awesome. Hope they still have the skeleton out front.”
“Wow, the food is fantastic and PCT hikers, OHV groups, locals and tourists make this one comfortable and fun wilderness experience. I love it at Grumpys! Oh yeah, Did I mention they have free tent camping out back plus Yurts, Trailers and a cabin to rent out?”
“As a discerning aficionado of gastronomy, I venture into the realm of burger evaluation with a palate finely attuned to the nuances of flavor and composition. The $7 offering, a veritable titan among its peers, eclipses the diminutive stature of McDonald's entry-level fare by a factor of three, a feat not to be underestimated. While parsimony dictates that few burgers ascend beyond the exalted echelon of an 8 in my esteemed appraisal, today's revelation, the Classic Burger, earns the rare distinction of a perfect 10.The symphony of textures and flavors that unfolds upon the first bite is nothing short of transcendent. Each element, meticulously curated and harmoniously orchestrated, coalesces to form a gustatory masterpiece. The fries, a quintessential companion to the main event, elicit murmurs of delight with their crisp exterior giving way to a pillowy interior, a testament to culinary finesse. And the burger itself, a symposium of succulence and sapor, beckons with its sizzling allure. Amidst the symphony of savory delights, I find myself compelled to indulge in the most contentious of accoutrements: the pickle. Ordinarily shunned, I succumb to curiosity and request a second serving, a decision I do not regret. The briny tang of the pickle, juxtaposed against the richness of the beef, adds a discordant note that resolves into a harmonious crescendo of flavor upon each successive bite.In conclusion, the Classic Burger stands as a paragon of its genre, a triumph of culinary craftsmanship that transcends the mundane to achieve greatness. It is a testament to the enduring allure of the humble burger, and a testament to the culinary prowess of those who dare to elevate it to new heights.”
“Fantastic! The dinner was exquisite, service is always so wonderful and pleasant. Atmosphere perfect. Best place in townWe are so fortunate ate to have them here. ♡♡♡♡”
“Came in for a black coffee. Coffee was pretty good. Only one size which was kind of annoying. I drive a lot so a larger size is helpful.Service was good. Price was a little on the high side. Atmosphere was minimal.”
“Since moving to the area, I have to say this has been the best restaurant that we have been to. Everything had so much flavor. The staff was so friendly and it was a clean, comfortable environment. This is definitely our new favorite place to eat.”
“They always have an incredible rotating tap of local craft beers. Additionally, there is always a great selection of canned craft beers, seltzers, and sodas on display in the coolers.”
“Hungry and felt like I was in the middle of nowhere (Ridgecrest is pretty small town) ... Yelped the best place to grab a bite to eat and found Kristy's Family diner. Our party of seven was seated fairly quickly and greeted pretty promptly with servers bringing water. Variety of food options, but I was craving a burger. So I ordered an Avocado Burger which came with French fries. Portion size was good for the price and taste pretty decent. I don't recall my waitress's name, but she was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was packed at the time we arrived. Moderately sized free parking lot. Bathrooms are small, could use some work, but at least the toilet flushes and there was toilet paper. If/whenever driving through Ridgecrest and want to stop for a quick bite, Kristy's Family diner is my bookmark.”
“Fresh ingredients, awesome pizza with extra melty cheese and terrific toppings (and a sourdough crust option!). The juices and smoothies feel as good as they taste. It didn't even last long enough to get a picture! Definitely give it a shot.”
“This was delicious! On a trip back from the Trona Pinnacles we wanted a relatively healthy lunch. We loved the fast casual service and the ability to build your own pita, wrap or salad. Definitely worth a stop.”
“What a find! In a repurposed fast food venue it is a fantastic quick service Mexican restaurant with a small dine in space. . I had a chicken chimichanga. It was cooked perfectly with flaky crust and well seasoned chicken served with freshly made guacamole and sour cream. My wife had the chicken quesadillas. Fajita chicken with cheese, peppers and onions. My daughter had the combination fajita dinner and loved it. I sampled the red and green peppers and they were very good. Service was quick and friendly. Refilled drinks quickly. Restroom clean. A perfect small Mexican restaurant that i highly recommend.”
“Now this is a classic, old-timey diner! This place is Cash Only, but the food is quick, reasonably priced, and tasty! They make my favorite hash browns in town (extra crispy, of course) and their omelettes are a good size! If you want biscuits and gravy, show up early, because they sometimes run out!”
“WHAT A HIDDEN GEM THIS PLACE IS!! I just stumbled upon the best dinner I've ever been to. The bloody Mary's are taller than my dog; Loaded with all the fixin's. They have mimosa flights which is more rare than it should be. The eggs Benedict and country potato's were choice and the service was great!”
“No menu outside for a drive-thru-only restaurant is crazy. 3.8 stars, overall. Is the menu and pricing a secret? Service was very nice but he forgot the ranch he offered to me. I came for a chorizo breakfast burrito, and this place had the audacity to say it doesn't come with potatoes or cheese inside. Those things cost extra. Never in my life have I heard of a place getting away with making plain-a** breakfast burritos and getting good reviews. Nickel-and-diming customers for the usual ingredients is so weird. Obviously this place is for repeat locals only-- lol, it seriously felt like they think business is so good, they don't need to even try. I don't like that aspect of businesses in Ridgecrest. Some of them look like they do not care. I ended up getting a cheeseburger combo because it came with cheese and potatoes and all that, unlike the breakfast burrito. Burger tasted good, homemade, but kinda dry, like, no sauce. Fries were good, too. Be careful driving into their lot-- the poor state of the asphalt is treacherous.”
“Minus maybe one restaurant in Washington that I have tried this is hands down the best sushi I have had in my life. They were incredibly quick and the sushi was amazing. Only wish they had an all you can eat option because I had 3 rolls and wanted more, but was starting to get pricey. Absolutely ”
“The two of us had the fryed oysters w/fries (on the appetizer menu), and drinks. Food was great- best seafood place in town. Service was wonderful - very courteous and caring. I would recommend Ales Crab House to everyone!”
“Hands down the best coffee in town as told by my amazing coworker. They have great sandwiches too. The best part is this coffee shop is inside probably the best pizza shop in town. Certainly a place for pizza lovers!”
“These people sell some of the AWESOMEST hotdog combinations. They even have a peanut butter & bacon dog!! Really great gourmet hotdogs. Try em out you’ll be glad you did.”
“I haven't tried everything here yet, but so far they rank better than Starbuck's for me. Caramel Frappuccino's actually have coffee in them, unlike Starbuck's! Prices lower than Sbuck's too ?”
“Yes ppl, they do have boba this might be the only place in Ridgecrest serving milk teas w/ boba. Very tasty and prices are on average with boba chain stores . Get some!”
“We ordered 2 large mugs of 805 beer and was not disappointed. The cost came out to 12 dollars and was perfect after spending the evening in 115 degree weather. The bartender was awesome, though she is moving to Utah. Vibe is good, but the regular pool players do get a little intense with their games. Restrooms are clean, bar is clean, and room is nice and cool. The only downside is this place takes cash only : (”
“The food here was really good. I had the Beef Ma LA Szechuan and it was amazing. The place was packed when I was there, which is a testament to their food quality. I'm not in Ridgecrest often, but when I am, I'll definitely come back here.”
“Nice relax atmosphere.Bar and dinning have separation. You can dine at the bar area or a dedicated dinning area.Had taco Tuesday. Good buy for the money. Will come again.”
“Best dive bar ever! I was visiting for work and heard about this spot. A group of us went and partied with the locals. Download the AMI app and play the jukebox...ask about the guy on the ceiling tile... it's a heartwarming story. Tell Bell Nissa said to make the crown apple concoction ?...or just have a beer (or whatever) it's a full bar. You're welcome. Have some food delivered, play pool, darts or the other game against the wall....I forgot the name of it. If you're in Ridgecrest, you have to go....oh yeah, it's the building in the back once you turn in. ? Have fun!!Parking: Parking is no problem.”
“I really love this place if you are traveling from out of town you have to go try there blended coffee. I like peanut butter chocolate it is my favorite, but they are all good. It is a drive up, so you don't have to get out of your car. The staff is very polite. I recommend this place!!”
“First meal while visiting was much better than expected. I had the tilapia and I'm so pleased I got the full meal rather than the senior portion. I wasn't at all hungry but ate it all. My husband had the ribs, he enjoyed them, but they were very saucy and the sauce was very sweet. Both meals had green beans that were good and my mashed potatoes were great.”
“The service was impeccable. We absolutely slammed this place with bios one night and all the food was immaculate and fast and delicious. I even left my sunglasses on the table and the owners were so kind enough to mail them to me in Palm Springs!!!! Absolutely precious. You don't get people like that anymore. Definitely going back. Please keep this business open, Ridgecrest!”
“The food was good, and the service was good for only really having one waitress. During that time, the busiest day of the week. The wait staff was very friendly. The Chile rellenos were small, but tastey, not enough cheese. Quesabirria, was SOOOOO Good, And dipping Consume, was fantastic, Over all pretty good for this town.”
“Karly with a K was the greatest server I have ever had in my life. This woman was the bartender, chef, and vibe curator all at the same time. Anytime I go from LA to Mammoth, 5 fingers I must go . Five stars for five ”
