“If you want to experience a place where the locals actually spend their time, this is it. We were pointed here by someone from the area who told us to skip the crowded tourist spots and check out this neighborhood favorite instead. It ended up being one of the most enjoyable stops of our trip.

The answer was either the teriyaki bowl or plates, and the teriyaki burgers.. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl.. it looked and smelled great driving home.. After eating it, I didn’t understand the line of people waiting.. It was okay, but in my opinion, no big deal.. “Love coming to this Smashburger. The food came out fresh and the service is what keeps my family coming back. Lani and Cesar were working the counter and they provided great service with a smile and checked in with my wife and I often about taking our trays away when we were done. Cesar also came over to provide condiments when we didn’t have some at our table. Today the atmosphere was pretty quiet and the music wasn’t loud. The manager also came over to see how our order was coming along.“

Ok- I get it. Keeping meals at less expensive option. I paid $63. Arrived and still had to wait. The food- was good. Fries fresh. Reminded me of the old McDonalds fries.“

“Hey Habit .. I write as someone who has been to multiple Habit locations, who loves the food, and has shared their menu with friends and family but specifically today I want to shoutout the dinner crew cooks at this location for bringing really really good quality in their food.

By this I mean the crisp of the toast on my Chicken Sourdough Sandwich and able to hear that wanted crunch upon that first bite.

“I want to give a shoutout to the manager and rest of the team who accommodated our large group of 30+ people for early dinner (before heading to the LA Galaxy game in Carson)

We placed some orders ahead of time on the app for extra discount and to use gift cards, and place the rest of the orders when we arrived at the restaurant. The manager and team efficiently consolidated those orders for dining-in and everything came out quickly and fresh.

If the weather was cooler, their large patio would've been perfect for our large group but the manager allowed us to use the indoor space given the heat wave.

My only regret is that I didn't take advantage of their catering order menu to make a large group meal easier on myself. It's incredible how this Shake Shack team handled individual orders for 30+ people with various customization request.“

“I worked late last night in Gardena and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I am on the Keto diet and was thrilled to find that this diner had several salad options. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken and it was terrific. The salad was huge! The only downside is that the Greek olives had pits, which is the pits. Lots of chicken though and a ton of Feta cheese. Delicious!“

They make it when you order it, by the time you bring it to your table it is still steaming. Love it. This location is 5 stars. We have tried El Segundo location but it doesn't compare at all. Torrance location is the OG.“

“This Steve’s Burgers is better than other locations and better than other hamburger stands. Their Pastrami is thin sliced, juicy and delicious. The Chili Fries are a step above all others. I don’t know why other burger joints do not use the same chili, but you can taste the difference. The service was very quick and the employee was very polite. The next customer didn’t know what to order, so he suggested menu items for them and they were pleased. This is a regular burger joints, but the food quality and service was a few steps above others. I will choose to pass two other burger joints that I used to frequent and make the drive here.“
