“We had the good fortune of stumbling across Moom Maam gelato when deciding on someone to cater our company's summer event. The flavors were delicious and many were options that you really can't find anywhere else. Their homemade waffle crisp was a surprise hit as well (and gluten free!), and with several vegan options, they were a caterer that truly could have a little something for people regardless of diet restrictions. And despite the whopping number of flavors they brought (15!!) the lines moved along at a good clip--managing to serve hundreds within 2 hours--and the portions were generous.“

“I want to handel's for my very first time today. I was very impressed with all the yummy flavors but more impressed with Chris and the customer service I received. Being that it was my first time there I had alot of questions about the variety of cones and all the different flavors and what was in each ice-cream. Chris was so patient and continue to smile as he answered all my questions and let me sample a couple flavors. Chris is really an asset to Handel's.“

“I have lived in Manhattan Beach for over 20 years and yesterday I had maybe the best customer service experience EVER in my life. I was not able to get the young man’s name but I have this picture here that he let me take. This young man was so warm and hospitable towards everyone who walked in the store. He was very patient with me and all my sampling requests which was probably annoying because I came at a busy time, but his positive attitude never wavered. His smile lit up my day and made my ice cream taste even sweeter than it already was! I loved my experience with that young man so much that I might only get ice cream from salt in straw from now on! He also gives the best scoops, filled with a lot of joy… and ice cream as well, so request him if you can. “We stopped by Golden Scoop Gelato after a quick stroll along the PV coast and honestly didn’t expect it to hit this hard. Total gem. Easily some of the best gelato (and ice cream in general) we’ve had in the area. We tried a bunch of things: tiramisu gelato, strawberry cream gelato, pistachio gelato, a strawberry matcha latte, a gelato-topped croffle, and the Nutella berry croffle. Everything was solid, but a couple standouts for sure. My daughter loved the strawberry cream gelato, super smooth and not overly sweet. The pistachio was legit too, actually tasted like pistachio and not just sugar. My favorite was the gelato-topped croffle (croissant + waffle combo) with tiramisu gelato on top. So good. Warm, crispy croffle with the cold gelato worked perfectly. The Nutella berry croffle was also a win. Don’t sleep on the drinks either. My wife really enjoyed the strawberry matcha latte, balanced and not too heavy. Great spot to end a walk by the coast. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I love this location besides frozen yogurt they have a variety of other options that you can pick from. It’s very economical compared to big brand frozen yogurt chains. We got three frozen yogurt with three toppings each along with an açai bowl and it came to be under $20. The lady was very professional and nice. We will be returning again. Great customer service. “There was a lot of really great options for ice cream, including the make your own ice cream sandwich. I would highly recommend that if you do go with the sandwich that you have them make it fresh and not grab one from the case. It’s really close to the pier so you can grab one and head down to the pier for sunset or just hang out in the same area and enjoy the ice cream and people watch.“

Some problems the place has is that its hidden within the street so it's easy to pass by it without knowing what's inside. Final problem is one lady makes and takes orders which is time consuming so a big order may take a long time depending how many are ordering.“

We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!“

“Recieved some for Valentine’s Day two large boxes & they wee gone in 12 hours & there are only 4 of us & we don’t eat a lot of sugary foods! They were actually delicious! I was pleasantly surprised! And when I read the ingredients, I was even more impressed because I didn’t see to many seed oils ie. Vegetable oils or any other toxic ingredients. I will definitely make this my go to place for birthdays and holidays, especially because they don’t use seed oils in place of butter (they had a few cookies containing some seed oils for frosting) but overall ingredients were quite good!

“Best mango sorbet I have ever had, it’s a hidden gem because I wouldn’t have realized it’s worth coming here over the ice cream shop next door if it weren’t for passersby eating their sorbet. I heard they had a chocolate hazelnut made from cashew milk but it was a limited time flavor and I'm SO SAD we missed it!!! How can we be informed when new flavors are added so we don't miss them?
