“Okay so this place was at one point a bikini bar (and maybe still is?), but was recently taken over by the chef from Il Pastaio. The food is certainly better than one should reasonably expect from a dive bar, although you have to ask for the old menu if you want risotto with scallops, housemade tagliatelli, etc. Personally I find the combination of a white tablecloth and neon lights adds a frisson of dynamic tension to my meal, ymmv“

“The Greyhound Bar is my all time favorite local, neighborhood bar! The drinks are fantastic and the food is delicious! Literally the best “bar food” in LA! All the bartenders are friendly and make it a very welcoming place to hangout. I love running into the regulars here. The owner is also very cool, friendly and welcoming! They always accommodate my modified order of the Greyhound Burger into the best vegetarian version, I have yet to find a better vegetarian cheeseburger in LA. Also, the best and raddest bartender here is Iliana, beautiful inside and out! Highly recommend this place. Especially if you want to catch a game here or just get a great burger and drink!“

“Amazing service came with my family to celebrate my birthday. Our waiter was exceptional Yamileth took care of everything my family is a little picky so we had a lot of substituting items which she gladly did with no issues. “I was there for a 30 yr old birthday with a friend and it was a nice atmosphere Kareoke was good lots of nice voices ( I can make a choir out of them) LOL. All in all it good. But I left early cause I don't like staying out to late so 10ish was a good time to go home.“

“We came to try this place on a Friday, craving mariscos. Super loud. It’s definitely not a place to bring your family to have a peaceful dinner. I ordered a mixta tostada and the fish was too chunky. They also added ketchup on it! The tostada was not good. Shrimp was fresh! We will not be coming back.“

“I came in today, for the first time, on Thursday, 04/10, around 3 PM. There were two patrons at the bar top and a cool, friendly bartender, Kiara, came out and took care of me. She was very warm, attentive, and easy to chat with. The place was clean, the bathroom was clean, chill vibe, the locals were friendly, and I felt welcomed. The happy hour prices are very fair and the happy hour nachos were so good! Shout out to chef Pancho! I was told he has been there for a very long time and I know why!
They are cash only (there is an ATM) although I understand you can start a tab with a matching ID. Just pay cash to make it easier for everyone involved. Clean bar top, clean bathroom, plenty of space inside, easy and plentiful parking, and it just seems like a cool place to check out, especially on the evenings and weekends. Once again, the service and food were amazing and the happy hour prices are totally legit!
I am a bar guy, I've been to plenty of bars, low end, upscale, and everything in between, and this place is on my list of places to come back to. Thanks again to Kiara (bartender) and Pancho (chef)! I'll be in again soon!“

“After two visits, I can confidently say this is a great place for wings. A 50 piece cost $80, which is a bit pricey but the quality is there.
Service is also pretty good. The waitresses are attentive and help out quickly.“

“First time here and we had a blast!! The bottle service was the best we didnt have to keep finding our host at all they kept coming by making sure we were good, clearing our tables and making sure we had everything we needed!! “Glad it’s open for a 9-hole outing on Friday walking with push cart at the Mountain Course. Last time I played here was in February before the health crisis. The new starter set up was actually more straight forward and efficient. Felt good to be outdoors and truly appreciated the open space and fresh air, after months of sheltering in place. Golf’s an individual game so keeping social distance wasn’t difficult. This usually-crowded course was decently maintained, quite easy and level without water hazard. The pace was good and this outing turned out to be an enjoyable experience.“
