“The restaurant Marché is one of my favorites in Marin County, a place where I had my 85th birthday party and where I can count on extraordinary food and service and ambience. The outdoor patio is delightful, and it's wonderful to be in a place where the noise level is low and manageable. We went on "hamburger night," and the hamburgers were cooked to perfection as requested, and the gnocchi ordered by another member of our party were as close to authentic as one can get (and I was raised in Italy). I would recommend Marché for those dinners that are special as well as more casual. It will never disappoint!“

Very simple basic menu, but everything was perfect. Flavorful, fresh, generously sized, good service. Everything was right. We are talking San Francisco - San Jose level of excellence for Vietnamese food. I used to think you had to go to the City to find great Vietnamese food, But now we have it local here in San Rafael. The other Vietnamese restaurants around town can't even compare. This restaurant is now on my short list. Coming back. Five star.“

“My family and I recently moved into the neighborhood and stumbled across Redwood Cafe, and it has quickly become one of our favorite local spots. Although they’re only open from 6am–3pm, this is absolutely a place you can’t skip out on.

They offer a great selection of breakfast and lunch options, plus a Greek menu that gives you even more to try. One of our favorite things is that they rotate different soups almost daily—there’s always something new and comforting. The owner, Leo, and his entire staff are truly wonderful and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in.

The cafe itself is small, cozy, and full of locals who clearly love being there—you can feel the happy, community vibe while dining. Redwood Cafe consistently goes above and beyond with customer service. I often bring my mother with me, and they genuinely treat people like family.

Waited a VERY long time for my bagel lox sandwich (w tomato, onion, sprouts) to come out from the deli. Official story (after two check-ins) was the oven was broken so it was taking longer to use a toaster oven. Many folks/couples/dogs after me were in and out w their orders before my sandwich arrived. Others in my party ordered and finished a second round of drinks before my sandwich arrived.“

“What a gem of a restaurant! We unintentionally stumbled upon Bolinas earlier this month while on vacation. When the Muir Woods closed due to the government shutdown, we pivoted, and we are so happy we did. Our party of 8, which they so accommodatingly allowed us to spilt into separate tables for 4 adults and 4 tweens, had the best time on their patio. The service was stellar and warm, the atmosphere was friendly and there wasn't a stranger to be found, and the food was even better than both those combined. I have never found thai food that can compare. No matter what you get; Pad kee mow, Tom Ka or a lettuce cup appetizer you will enjoy an explosion of flavor! The staff consistently go above and beyond to make something delicious and special when my mom (who has numerous allergies) comes to visit. Why would you go anywhere else for Thai food?
