“I would like this is one of my long-time fast stops for boba and some quick yummy bites. I would recommend this place if you're nearby for some grocery and want to grab boba drinks or a quick bite. They have so great meals as well. No hassle and waiting in line. Great customer service as always.“

“This place is so delicious! Walking distance from me, so my boyfriend and I walk down there frequently. The owner is so nice and accommodating. The boba is so fresh and soft, but not mushy— perfect texture. All the tea drinks I’ve had were all delicious and my boyfriend always gets a super cup rose milk tea and finishes the whole thing! I’ve been getting the popcorn chicken recently, which is dangerously addictive. Can’t wait to explore this massive menu some more!“

“(2/7/21) Went in today and was not disappointed! Ordered seafood pad see ew, beef broccoli, and chicken fried rice; all three were freshly made, the beef was tender, broccoli wasn’t soggy, but super fresh! The rice was moist and soft just like I was craving it; and the gravy was exactly what I was hoping for. The only thing I would do differently would be asking for extra shrimp, my kids ate them and only left me one 🤣 The Thai tea was so good, I ordered a second one for later 👌 I’ll definitely be going back to try other things off their menu 👌“

“I ordered Umami Express via Uber Eats, so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but the food? It was ridiculously good. I had never had forbidden black rice before, but its now my favorite. I am even learning to make it at home. I ordered a wagu beef rice bowl. I really didn't have any expectations as I was just looking for something quick and healthy. This bowl blew me away. They chop all the vegetables up into small cubes, so they really blend with the bowl well. They also put a lot of thought into their preparation, preparing the ingredients at low temperatures, to maintain as much nutrients as possible. I really liked their sauces even before I learned that they are sugar and dairy free! Overall, the meal I had was very tasty, very hardy, and very nutritious. I look forward to trying more off their menu.“

“I have heard wonderful things so I decided to try this local spot. To start, I was pleasantly welcomed by the cashier with politeness and a smile. The owners and the cashier are very nice and welcoming people. Don't be foolish and let the dated outside fool you, this spot is a lovable local gem!

The server/cashier came to check on me multiple times, which truly emphasized their care for their customers. The food came relatively quick for I only had to wait about 5-ish minutes.

I loved the chicken teriyaki bowl that I ordered, which came with tsukemono, a simple and deliciously refreshing cabbage topping. The food was straight forward, yet delicious and full of flavor, the chicken was quite tender as well. The way they prepared the chicken in thin-julienne-like cuts was unique and allowed the teriyaki sauce to cover more surface are, truly fusing the grilled umami flavor of the neatly cooked chicken with the dark and flavorful teriyaki sauce.

Using my best judgement, the prices of the food is about the same you would find anywhere else. For the plates/ bowls they offer 3 different sizes. Some other menu items they feature are burgers, fish fry, beef, and chicken katsu.

Additionally the restroom that is out back was clean and ready to use(kindly ask to use the restroom and you'll be given a key). The inside of the restaurant was clean without a speck of food or liquid in site. The tables, ground, and even on top of the trash cans were as clean as a brand new car.

Overall, I will absolutely be returning to this local gem and am looking forward to trying their other menu items. If you find yourself nearby and looking for a bite, consider giving this Korean-family-owned restaurant some love! 🙌🏼🍚🍗“
