“I am so glad we went with Looking Glass Cakes for my mom's 60th birthday. The owner was super thoughtful and collaborative about what my vision was for the design of the cake and she expertly applied her creativity to the concept. Not only did the cake turn out absolutely stunning, but the quality and flavor was unmatched. If you're familiar with bakeries in Sacramento, it was on par with the quality I'd find at Freeport Bakery. And she does classes and workshops?! What an absolute GEM this place is in our community. ❤“

“The classic 31 flavors are sometimes just so good! For anyone who doesn't do dairy, they currently have a strawberry streusel made with oatmilk that sounds delicious! Obviously because of Covid I didn't sample it, but I might try it next time. I got a double scoop with jamocha and gold medal ribbon, which was a perfect combo! Best friend got a mint chip shake and was in heaven. The only thing that's a bummer is that it's one of those that's inside Togo's. I like Togo's too, but ever since I was a kid I haven't been able to stand the smell of Togo's, and that goes doubly so when I'm getting dessert. But hey, BR can't help where they're located.“
“I dealt with Kathy and every time we spoke via email or over the phone she was kind, professional and cooperative. She made a breath-taking custom cake of Thomas the Train and was very accommodating and flexible around the pick up time. I am very grateful to her for making my son's birthday dream come true. Worth every penny! Highly recommend.“

“Amazing, gluten-free options and an awesome experience at the bakery. It is always hard to find a superb gluten free cheesecake that isn't just a plain one. I appreciate the gluten-free options and he was able to take my request and freeze mine so I could take it on a plane!! Every time I come back to Sacramento I will be stopping in. I bought two while I was there, 6 of us shared one and I'm the only one who is gluten free...everyone raved about the taste. I commend you Jeff for perfecting a gluten free crust!!! Thank you so much!!!“
