“Amazing Asian tofu salad! Only issue is I carried out and didn’t see that you have to pay extra for them to mix it. That is bizarre and was super annoying but it is truly addictive and my boyfriend couldn’t stop talking about it. I wouldn’t change a thing except the staff was rude and the salad should be mixed without an up charge!“

“This is our “go to” place in Sausalito for my wife and I so we decided to take our visitors from Canada here. Everything was going well until my order, the bone in veal chop special, arrived more than 5 minutes later than everyone else's main course. The issue is that when my order arrived, there was a barely an apology or any offers to adjust our bill. Sad.“

“If you're thinking about a place to have a party, I can't recommend Ounces enough! Waz and his team were so lovely to work with, and they helped plan the perfect afternoon. Lawn games, tasty food, delicious sips, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly service.

Outside of events, it's also just a fantastic place to drink a cold beverage in the sunshine. I've taken a book with me and relaxed on the lovely patio, during the times I wasn't there with friends.

This place is truly a hidden gem at the Northgate Mall.“

“We had friends coming to visit from Arizona and wanted to take them somewhere special for dinner. We heard about the newly reopened Paseo in Mill Valley and decided to try it. We were welcomed by the friendly manager Kevin as we entered. After giving us a tour we were seated in the main dining room by a cozy fireplace. We ordered cocktails along with a charcuterie board and roasted Brussels sprouts. At the recommendation of our knowledgeable waiter Will, my sister and I ordered the beet salad. One of our guests had the Market Green Salad and another raved about her Potato Leek Soup. Wanting to try different entrees we ordered California Halibut, Braised Osso Busco, Mary's Chicken Breast, Rib Eye Steak, and Roasted Duck Breast with orange glaze. The taste and presentation exceeded our expectations. As we were enjoying coffee along with Chocolate Indulgence, a (layered torte) and a Peanut Crunch Bar, Chef Branden approached our table to see how we enjoyed our meal. We all told him how much we enjoyed the food, his beautiful presentation, and the smiling staff. We had a great five star experience and will definitely be back!“

“Our wedding reception (hosted here) was absolutely epic! The entire experience at Sweetwater exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

The staff were exceptional--professional, attentive, and so genuinely fun. The service was impeccable, and they made sure that every detail was handled with care and efficiency. We felt incredibly supported throughout the entire event.

The food was truly delicious! Our guests were raving about how good everything was. We had fun putting the menu together, we appreciated the suggestions. It all came together amazingly.

The vibe was on point! The lighting on stage during performances was perfect--creating a magical atmosphere that complemented our theme beautifully. The way everything was set up was just right and made the evening so special. We especially appreciated being able party late - the fact that we could stay until 1am was very unique for a wedding venue. It made for an extended night of celebration and joy that we will cherish forever.

“Easily one of the best restaurants in town. It's dimly lit and there's a great local vibe about. I guess I'll never not get nervous when an attractive lady sits next to me. I'm just happy that I didn't spill my drink. Maybe if she wasn't so attached to her phone I could have made eye contact. Great Chicken Sammy. “Best food and drinks all weekend long. Marco was just an amazing individual. He made our anniversary even more special. My husband is a huge mezcal fan and asked if there was a drink the bartender could make and sure enough they made the most spectacular drink! We loved the food and drinks so much we stopped in after our long hike from Angel Island. I ordered the same mezcal drink as my husband did the night before. G was just an amazing bartender and helped us out with all the different types of mezcal and what characteristics they bring to the table. Marco even recognized us and said you guys are back. I have been telling everyone about your amazing restaurant and not just the quality of food but just the atmosphere and experience we had with the staff. They are all welcoming and make you feel like family.“

“Eclectic restaurant in the old part of Hamilton field. Inside and outside seating. Really good and fresh calamari, where you can actually taste the squid. Fish tacos are excellent, fresh fish perfectly cooked and good value. Shrimp tacos were also good. Fettuccine jambalaya had a well developed sauce with a good mix of proteins. Finished with a Snickers cheesecake and strawberry pavlova, both excellent. Service was good with very friendly staff. Only downside was the smell of the deep fat fryer, probably should have sat outside. Recommended and will return.“

“So...July 4, 2025. I was hastily looking for something to do that would keep me and my girlfriend away from the crowds but still have the vibe of the SF Bay experience. After living here for most of our lives, we still love the Bay so we’re always looking to engage with it in new ways. Then I remembered that there were a couple of restaurants that I had not been to on the Sausalito side of the Golden Gate. I called Sula, and could not get through to a human, so, I took a chance that we might show up an hour before dark and get dinner, maybe walk down and see SF fireworks or just take a walk. I know, a little crazy to think that might work. Sula met and exceeded expectations in a number of ways. First, I was right to arrive by 7pm....the train of cars/people who followed seemed endless, but, they were not coming for dinner, just fireworks, so we got to Sula with no parking problems, we we’re greeted kindly, got a table outdoors, delicious cocktails off their specialty menu, a great dinner with perfect portions and flavors (but remember, we are Californians, so, your ideas might be different) and a magical evening. We just listened to the fireworks as trees were in our way, but, we did not care as our view of the environs, the marina district and the bridge were divine. Then after dinner, we had a easy stroll to the pier and bridge while we waited for the firework folk to go home. Sula is a lovely place with food well prepared and a location that puts you at ease and in awe. Wether you are a resident or a visitor, you’ll appreciate what is on offer here. “We had brunch here on Saturday. The waffles are absolutely delicious! The eggs benedict was fantastic too. I should have taken pictures. I have been coming to this Nordstrom since it was built in the 80's. I have never eaten here. This place is awesome and I will be back as the menu looks fantastic.“
