“Got on each of their poke bowls. Shoyu, half and half and spicy. The spicy is spicy but good! The bowl is just poke over rice. Got mochi doughnuts and they were really good like it was made to order! They dip the doughnuts when you order. Their doughnuts taste much better then other name brand places!“

Me and my friends are road-tripping down the coast of California and we stopped for gas and noticed this breakfast spot near by. Walking in you can feel the warm energy of the owners and they are immediately there to help you. The food ended up being a 10/10, absolutely amazing. I got the BLT on a bagel and was thrilled. “A gem in my neighborhood that I have ignored is the small business and Cantonese bakery “Donut Time,” which sells Vietnamese sandwiches, Hong Kong Milk Tea, pineapple buns (bo1 lo1 bao6), tarts (dan1 tat6), and different Cantonese pastries.

The clerk was generous, and gracious. I ordered a Hong Kong milk tea, drank about a third of it, and politely asked if I could give her 75 cents to fill my cup with black coffee, but she let me do it for free.

The items are cheap, and if you are time-strapped and need to get to work at 7 AM, this is an excellent spot for my neighbors here on Noriega Street.“

“One of the most under rated cafes in San Francisco. Have never been to a cafe that offers the rare combination of incredible donuts, lively and elegant atmosphere, warm and friendly service, coffee with beautiful latte art, and delicious food. On top of all that the even have wine and Spritz? Like seriously the Lo-fi is a hibiscus lime prosecco swirl of goodness.

The creme brulee donut was something that was unforgettable, and left me in a trance. Its crunchy caramelized top gives texture to its fluffy and airy brioche dough. The barista said its a house made vanilla bean custard on the inside which was not too sweet and balanced it perfectly. I also tried the avocado tartine with two poached eggs, which was incredible. The server who was kind enough to speak with me explained it has middle eastern spice “Za’tar” and “Lebne” yogurt. The focaccia bread was so crunchy, warm, and fresh. On top of everything the head chef came and greeted us, seemed very friendly, and asked how we enjoyed our meal.

Ive also previously tried the Dulce de Leche latte and Chocolate cruller on my way to work, which both were fantastic. Will be recommending this spot to all my friends in the future.“

“Love this place. It's been here since I was a kid. The owner is such a sweet lady and the rest of the staff are too. They always greet you with such kindness when you walk in. The food there is hella good. I love the special chicken and rice plate they have. They also serve breakfast and lunch and donuts :) plus it's right in front of a bus stop and opens at 5:30am“

“I went to a Starbread at a different location a few years ago and fell in love with the señiorita bread. I was in San Francisco for a few days and found out there was a Starbread here as well. I wanted to go back and get the bread that I remembered being so good. Well, this place did not disappoint! The señiorita bread was actually better here, it was fresh and sweet and buttery! Because I was traveling back home, I only got 10 for $6 however next time I will be getting a bigger box to bring back home!“

“What a GEM! In town for a concert at Cow Palace and loved this place. The croissants were the best I’ve had in my life and he makes them. They were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft/flaky on the inside. Husband and I loved our breakfast so much we went back the same day for lunch. Loved the Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea as well.
