“I'll start off by saying yes, this does taste just as good as it looks. I'm so glad I gave this place a shot. It was super eye catching and looked like a very unique take on ice cream. Their flavors and pastries are all hand crafted from what I could tell and it shows because they taste amazing. Everything I had was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely be coming back. When we went, there was only one person working so be prepared to wait but I promise that it's worth it. I will say next time I'll probably go with a regular scoop because I feel like I got less ice cream than my girlfriend who didn't get the bun. The bun however, was very flavorful and wasn't too thick, which I appreciated. Also if you get a bun, it does melt and get messy which is to be expected so be prepared for that. Overall, absolutely love this place and would highly suggest to any ice cream enjoyer.“
“I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Uncle Benny's! The very first time I ordered from here, Charlie made it a point to ask for my name and actually remembered my name 2 weeks later when I came back! He also introduced me to his team Lily and Lynn (or Linh)! They made me feel so welcomed and that's why I go to them and have told many people I come across about them. They wake up at 3am to make their various homemade bagels and cream cheese. My favorite combo so far has been the pesto bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. Their Vietnamese coffee is really good too. Overall, EVERYTHING is good! This mom & pop store is a must if you're in the area or even in SF in general!“

“Mazzetti's bakery knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake. We discovered Mazzetti's through our wedding vendor, Wedgewood Weddings. Nice knowing there was already a designated cake vendor who would deliver to our venue without any extra stress and coordination on our part. Sampling- when ready to taste test, simply email to share a day that you will pick up your sample box. We were given 9 cupcakes with various flavor options. Style: In an email, we received sample photos and options of cake flavors and decorations. I think this process could be upgraded with tech to make it more interactive, rather than a non-writable pdf attachment. Tech aside, the pictures helped share the combinations of options and process simple with Mazzetti's reaching back out by email closer to the wedding date to confirm party size and flavors chosen. Cake: Taste- I'll definitely be going back for more! We chose the following: Top- white with apricot filling Middle- red velvet with cream cheese frosting Bottom- carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Fun being able to choose different flavors for each tier. Our guests loved all of them! As most bride/grooms, we didn't even get to eat the cake at our wedding because we were too busy dancing, but our venue packed up a sample box to go which we enjoyed for breakfast the next morning, savoring every bite! Overall- glad to have found a new local bakery I trust. Even will make the 45 min drive out to Pacifica to visit Mazzetti's on weekends, which always has a line of locals out the door. Check this place out for quick sweets or scheduled parties and celebrations. They won't disappoint!“

The online portal is more effective at giving you options if you have dietary restrictions, but staff is knowledgeable and efficient. “I was pretty impressed with my visit to Royal Donut Cafe. I didn't come for their donuts, but for their breakfast and they had some of the best country fried steak I've had a in a while. The interior is very dated so that might turn some people off, but they are expanding the restaurant and taking over the space next door. They said that there is a possibility that they open for dinner in the future too. Staff were very friendly as well. Parking in the area is certainly a pain in the area, but there are paid parking lots near by. Country Fried Steak & Eggs ($15.95) was what I ordered and it was massive. I was stuffed after eating it and the steak had the perfect breading. The sausage gravy was very tasty and the hash browns were also a large portion. The eggs they also cooked really well and they don't overcook them like I accidently do at home because I love runny eggs. It is definitely worth a visit here although I have no input on their donuts or pastries personally. Their breakfast is top tier though and you get large portions. Would recommend this breakfast spot to anyone in the area.“

“I saw this shop on an IG reel and wanted to try because I love sourdough and donuts. It was the best of both worlds. I came to the shop on Friday the 22nd around 2:15 pm. I got the cheesecake, lemon meringue, and blueberry. The cheesecake flavor wasn't for me because it was a little bit sweet. I liked the filling of the lemon and the meringue. For the blueberry donut, the blueberry goes well with the lime on top. All of the donuts base were really fluffy and light. I ate the blueberry the next day and the donut was still fluffy. I enjoyed the sourdough donuts and would definitely come back to try their other flavors.“
