“Excellent food and very authentic. I lived in Ireland for a number of years and thoroughly enjoyed the full Irish fry for brunch. They even had Barry’s tea (I used to be more of a Lyon’s Gold Blend but Barry’s is my close second). Lovely.I went another evening and had the lamb riblets. GORGEOUS! I watched the barman pour a few Guinness. I normally don’t order Guinness in America but the barman poured a proper pint and there was plenty of Guinness flowing. Best pint of Guinness I’ve had in ages. I’ll be back!“
“Good for happy hour, cozy and not crowded on a weekday for co-worker meetup. Menu isn't huge though, and salad wasn't very exciting, small, but my friends who got burgers and other less health-conscious items were happy. I appreciate the ease of parking, small shopping area right across from Safeway, and easy access off of the 92/280 junction. Good adult hangout, not for kids, dark inside.“
“Can't beat Kendo's karaoke list here on Wednesdays and when I say list well pretty much any song you can think of just put it in and mark my words he's got it. The crowd is great too. They had free popcorn last time I was there . The crowd again super great. They have an indoors and then an indoors that looks like your outdoor too. It's like this big patio area but you're kinda still inside. They have great parking too. I choose to park down the street but just saying they have a parking lot .“
“I decided to stop by this local sports bar. Fairly empty when I came in. Packed by the time I left. Good menu selections. Weekend breakfast options. They even offer mystery shots. I had the steak and eggs.The bartender/server Freddie was super nice and attentive. Prices are on point. Especially for the location. Food was ok. Nothing extremely special but the customer service was superb!“
“Bucky''s is a great bar that serves reasonably priced drinks. I usually go a couple Tuesday nights a month and enjoy the service there from Meagen. Bucky's also has an back patio that's great if you want to enjoy your drink with some fresh air. If you are looking for a low key atmosphere and a good time, Bucky's could be the right spot for you.“
“All the elements of the pub nachos were amazing. The flavour was great and the presentation was *chefs kiss*.I LOVE me a good amount of condiments and dip but it was a bit much and 95% of the tortilla chips were completely soggy before I could dig them out.I ended up getting about 5 crispy ones and then eating the chili topping with a fork while moving slimy chips out of the way. Wouldn’t stop me from eating something else here though!“
“Great place. Very low key which is what I like as opposed to loud with obnoxious drunks. He keeps those guys (and occasional girls) out. Bartender/owner Justin is a great guy. I see other reviews saying he only pays attention to friends. Simply not true. There's a saying, close mouths don't get fed and this is no exception. If you ask or wave him down, you will get served. He's not just gonna stare at you till you finish your drink like people want. He will walk up and down the bar to make sure you're good or if you need anything then go and resume conversation with customers whether it be friends, regulars or newbies like I was. Has been my go to place for a month and a half now and am saddened that I was in the area temporarily and won't be in as often. Do yourself a favor and hit this bar up. Quieter than most bars but great selection and plenty of food in the area!! Some of the regulars are great too. Not territorial like other regulars in other bars. Made me feel welcome as hell there. “Have hosted several events here and it never disappoints. Love coming here late night for black light bowling and dance music. The bar inside the bowling alley has great non-alcoholic options and the parking lot usually has a spot or two open.“
“All the bartenders are chill here. Drinks are a good value they make them good also. Music is always good and if it's not download the app to the jukebox and you can play your own music. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Definitely friendly local neighborhood bar. Check them out. Mellow vibe most of the time“
“This is a fun no frills Irish bar with tons of regulars. Enjoy trivia on Wednesday nights at 8pm, or come in for a weeknight Guinness. Sometimes there's a food truck out front, or you can visit George's next door and they will bring it over to you. You can also bring in food. My favorite is the Calisqueeze on tap.“

“Okay, I find it entirely unjust that they're carrying craptastic reviews from more than 5 years ago and previous management... I feel like there should be a metamorphosis filter that lets you see how current management/ownership is dealing. Perhaps the owners are the same? I'm not certain, but I do know that they are under new management. So, all I'm saying is... give Helen a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised. I've been there through all of the Carlos Club iterations, for more than 20 years... back in the bad karaoke days DJ'd by "Mr. Sex", complete with guy who brings his own mic and takes himself too seriously to the dive bar standard issue weird old guy who dances like a pervy chicken and had his own Facebook page for a minute; to the first change in ownership with its weird new vibe and sad attempt to class up the place but failure to fix the rank stenchy plumbing. I spent many a nearly forgotten night there until the past few years.... And now returned to find they're under new management and thought an updated review was in order... I had a chance to visit for the birthday of a friend. It was definitely surreal walking in to the updated location (I don't like the new name, it's forever "The Carlos Club" in my mind), the back bar is now gorgeously lit with a great selection. They've created some yummy craft cocktails, plus all the standards. Pool table, Darts and plenty of TVs to watch the games of the day. The furniture situation was a little awkward but it looks like it can be easily moved around. Personally, I hate high tops (short girl problems) but that's just me, but luckily they have low seating too and happiest of all happiness the restrooms are now meticulous!! It matters. So there ya have it. Give them a chance, and if you're happy help bump 'em up a star to move on from the previous mess.“
