“Chef Joann was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we first reached out to Chef Joann, she was a little bit out of our price range, but she was able to work with us and our budget in order to be the caterer for our wedding. We went and met Joann and did a food tasting with her and she was so hospitable and nice we knew we had found the caterer for us, not to mention the food was absolutely amazing. Luckily, Chef Joann had worked our venue before so that took all the worries and stress from trying to plan and connect her with our venue and coordinator. She was able to work with us, even through all the craziness of 2020 and we were able to figure out a way to make things work efficiently and safely without jeopardizing the layout or food. The bartenders she was able to bring went above and beyond and really helped to get the party started for our wedding. They were constantly bringing my wife and I drinks as we would be empty handed and socializing with our guests. It was really cool how well the entire crew took care of not only us but all of our guests. With me being the wayI am, I wanted to help Joann and her crew and she would joke with me to be quiet, have fun and get married. It really felt like a family member or close friend was there, had our back and was taking care of us. It was a really cool dynamic and took all the stress out of the day. The food Joann conjures up is not easily put into words. The appetizers she did for the cocktail hour as well as the cheese boards she created for each table were astounding. They were above and beyond anything we had expected. I had guests coming up to me all night commenting on how amazing the cocktail hour was along with the dinner. We are so happy we picked Joann to take control and be a part of our big day. I would highly recommend Joann to anyone who wants amazing a delectable food from someone who is so easy going and easy to work with, you feel like you have known them for years. “As a wedding planner (Forever Enchanted Events), I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the incredible service Personal Touch Dining provided at our last wedding. They sky-rocketed to the top of my preferred vendor list. Each of their staff members truly went above and beyond to ensure the success of the event, all while having great attitudes and working very quickly and efficiently. Starting from the beginning of booking, their communication was fantastic. Brittany, our first point of contact was very thorough and even checked in a week prior to the wedding to make sure we had a back up plan for rain when she saw the possibility in the weather forecast and provided recommendations for tents as well. Melissa, our Catering Manager, was phenomenal and notably friendly, organized, and calm while managing a very large team. I would whole-heartedly trust her and her team with any event. Everything ran smoothly, and she personally checked in with me several times to see if they could offer my own team any additional assistance if they had staff members available. I was truly amazed at the quality of service and the friendliness of EVERY member of their team (especially Evan, Matt, Izzy, Lauren, Melissa, and Brittany) and look forward to working together again soon!“

“Brigette made the catering part of our wedding plans super easy. She communicated with us clearly and followed up in a timely fashion whenever we had questions. They also at last minute, took on cake cutting! Niko, Sean and Scott were so professional the day of my reception and were just so friendly and just a pleasure all around. The food was amazing. I'm not a baked bean kinda gal, but I have to say these are by far the best ones I've ever tried. The jalapeños really added to them ?. The tri-tip was delicious and the chicken was juicy!
So the cake cutting was a fun one... they were so worried about cutting it wrong but they did great! We highly recommend them!“

“I’ve been going to Green Leaf Cafe for a while now since it’s near the building where I work, and it’s consistently great. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Over time they’ve even learned my name, which makes the experience feel a lot more personal.
The food is always solid, the coffee is excellent, and they’re super quick getting everything ready even during busy times. It’s one of those spots that just makes your day a little better. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.“

“We recently ordered food from Mumbai Food Corner for a party. Food was just like homemade - delicious. While every dish was wonderful, our guests loved the Vada pav and Pav Bhaji even more. Spice level was appropriate for adults and kids. Their menu has a very wide variety of items to order from. They even suggested how much food would be sufficient for our group of party and it served well! Very authentic people to deal with. Would highly recommend Mumbai food corner!“

“Brie is fantastic! We can't say enough good things. She made our wedding reception outstanding! She absolutely went above and beyond our expectations. The food was delicious. We had a taco bar and a tappa style buffet. Everyone raved about the food. The decor of the event was above anything we could have imagined. “Had a sweet tooth, was driving past & I made my husband drop me off because I only saw the word “bakery.” So glad I came up on this place in a whim!!! I had the best Pecan Sandies I’ve ever had and a delicious peanut butter cookies dipped in chocolate. The man at the counter was very nice and offered so many suggestions. I will definitely be back to try more of their baked goods!“
“Sean and his team are truly amazing! We hired them for our rehearsal dinner which took place at my grandparents house. They were able to pull up right in the driveway and guests meandered between the backyard and driveway to grab slices as they wished. I am personally vegetarian and my favorite was the pesto vegetarian pizza. It was so light and delicious! Everyone had great things to say about the honey jalepeno, and even the gluten free guests had great reviews. It felt like Sean was the host of the party, you can tell he truly loves his job and loves talking to people. They set up and cleaned up so quickly I hardly even knew where they arrived/left, it was like magic whisked them away. They made so much pizza most of us took some home afterwards. Highly reccomend!!!“

Jorge and Manny worked our event and they felt like family. The food was perfection, presentation was professional and festive, and their level of service was 5 star!!! Highly recommend. Also, Jorge communicated right away through the process of planning and execution. Also, it did rain a bit and they were calm and collected and flexible with working around weather.“

“If you don't know what wood fired pizza is you'd think it's burnt. It's not Dominos pizza it's artisan pizza cooked in high temperature oven with that perfect char. We met them at the Holiday Market at Petco Park and they were a well oiled machine. The entire staff looked super happy and their customer service was top notch! Can't wait to try again! “I recently hosted a milestone birthday party at a home in La Jolla and celebrated with 70-80 of my closest friends. ;) “Tacos and Gorditas” was recommended to me by a friend for taco catering. I’m glad I chose them as I was *not* disappointed, nor were my guests! The workers were on time, kind, gracious and stayed until all of my guests were stuffed with all the tacos, beans, rice and guac that they could handle. The tacos were delicious and the service was on point. And the pricing was very reasonable. 😃🌮 Also, all of the communication leading up to the event was super easy and mostly by email. I highly recommend this catering business. I will use them again for future events and will refer them to my friends.“
“We were told by a number of friends that doing tastings with candidate caterers for our wedding would be one of the most enjoyable parts of our wedding planning - and they weren’t wrong! But Culinary Concepts stood apart by a lot, and we are incredibly happy that we went with them. Katie was our point of contact and she did such an amazing job helping us understand the whole process from the tasting to glassware rentals and then the big day. This was our most expensive option out of the set, but we truly believe it was worth every penny. Guest after guest noted to us how highly they thought of the food. And the staff was efficient, friendly, and discreet. We felt the “station” format that CC offered helped set the tone of “comfortable and relaxed” that we were looking for while keeping everything organized and on schedule. We’re writing this review exactly one year after our wedding which, according to many of our vendors, was one of the last that they held in 2020. A big thank you to the team at Culinary Concepts for the incredible memories - we can’t recommend them highly enough.“

She was incredibly responsive, organized, and open about the whole process. We opted for a taco bar and got glowing approval from our Mexican family. “I subscribed to the Mama Africa monthly Sunday dinner from April, 2021 until the service was discontinued in April 2023, and enjoyed it immensely. It became a tradition to get together with friends once a month and enjoy the meal together. The food was always very interesting and satisfying, the sambusas were always a favorite (I would love to purchase the spicy peanut sauce in a bottle!!). I was sorry that the Sunday dinner program was discontinued, but I'd definitely use Mama Africa the next time I need an event catered.“

“From the time that I sent an inquiry email to Tanya & Lizette, the customer service at Paella Valenciana was excellent, very good communication and fast response to my questions. The two paellas we had were chicken and vegetables and seafood. Both were very good, and my guests were very happy with the display during the preparation and with the courtesy and friendliness of the chefs. I would recommend Paella Valenciana whole heartedly. Invite them to your home. You won't regret it!“

I hired them for my wedding and from the initial phone consultation, through planning meetings, and the event itself, I felt completely taken care of by every single staff member. One of the owners, Olga, went over my menu with me in such detail—we were so impressed! Everyone is thoughtful, detail-oriented, kind, and professional. I felt like a priority because they take the time to listen to what you want and offer great suggestions based on their decades of experience!
